It is not that we are competent in ourselves to consider anything as coming from ourselves, but our competence is from God.

并不是我们凭自己能承担什么事；我们所能承担的，乃是出于神。

并不是我们凭自己配做什么事，我们之所以配做是出于上帝；

并不是我们凭自己配做什么事，我们之所以配做是出于神；

我们并不认为自己能够承担什么，我们能够承担全是靠上帝。

我们不敢以为自己有资格作什么，我们所能够作的是出于神。

并不是说，我们凭自己配得上把什么算做出于自己；而是说，我们之所以配得上是出于神。

並不是我們憑自己能承擔甚麼事；我們所能承擔的，乃是出於神。

並不是我們憑自己配做甚麼事，我們之所以配做是出於上帝；

並不是我們憑自己配做甚麼事，我們之所以配做是出於神；

我不能擅自思索、吾之能由上帝、

非謂我儕恃己能由己而思何事、我之能由天主也、

至吾儕本人、則空無所有、不足道也。吾儕之所有皆淵源於天主。

Not that we are competent in ourselves to claim anything for ourselves, but our competence comes from God.

In ourselves we are not able to claim anything for ourselves. The power to do what we do comes from God.

Not that we are sufficient in ourselves to claim anything as coming from us, but our sufficiency is from God,

It is not that we think we are qualified to do anything on our own. Our qualification comes from God.

It is not that we are competent in ourselves to claim anything as coming from ourselves, but our adequacy is from God.

Not that we are adequate in ourselves so as to consider anything as having come from ourselves, but our adequacy is from God,

Not that we are sufficient of ourselves to think of anything as being from ourselves, but our sufficiency is from God,

not that we are sufficient of ourselves, to account anything as from ourselves; but our sufficiency is from God;

Not that we are sufficient of ourselves to think any thing as of ourselves; but our sufficiency[ is] of God;

Not that we are adequate in ourselves to consider anything as if it were coming from ourselves, but our adequacy is from God,

not that we are sufficient of ourselves, to account anything as from ourselves; but our sufficiency is from God,

But by God’s grace I am what I am, and His grace toward me was not ineffective. However, I worked more than any of them, yet not I, but God’s grace that was with me.

I am able to do all things through Him who strengthens me.

But He said to me,“ My grace is sufficient for you, for power is perfected in weakness.” Therefore, I will most gladly boast all the more about my weaknesses, so that Christ’s power may reside in me.

“ I am the vine; you are the branches. The one who remains in Me and I in him produces much fruit, because you can do nothing without Me.

Every generous act and every perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of lights; with Him there is no variation or shadow cast by turning.

For it is God who is working in you, enabling you both to desire and to work out His good purpose.

But Moses replied to the Lord,“ Please, Lord, I have never been eloquent— either in the past or recently or since You have been speaking to Your servant— because I am slow and hesitant in speech.”Yahweh said to him,“ Who made the human mouth? Who makes him mute or deaf, seeing or blind? Is it not I, Yahweh?Now go! I will help you speak and I will teach you what to say.”Moses said,“ Please, Lord, send someone else.”Then the Lord’s anger burned against Moses, and He said,“ Isn’t Aaron the Levite your brother? I know that he can speak well. And also, he is on his way now to meet you. He will rejoice when he sees you.You will speak with him and tell him what to say. I will help both you and him to speak and will teach you both what to do.He will speak to the people for you. He will be your spokesman, and you will serve as God to him.

But when they hand you over, don’t worry about how or what you should speak. For you will be given what to say at that hour,because you are not speaking, but the Spirit of your Father is speaking through you.

for I will give you such words and a wisdom that none of your adversaries will be able to resist or contradict.

I planted, Apollos watered, but God gave the growth.

Now we have this treasure in clay jars, so that this extraordinary power may be from God and not from us.

But I protested,“ Oh no, Lord, God! Look, I don’t know how to speak since I am only a youth.”Then the Lord said to me: Do not say,“ I am only a youth,” for you will go to everyone I send you to and speak whatever I tell you.Do not be afraid of anyone, for I will be with you to deliver you. This is the Lord’s declaration.Then the Lord reached out His hand, touched my mouth, and told me: I have now filled your mouth with My words.See, I have appointed you today over nations and kingdoms to uproot and tear down, to destroy and demolish, to build and plant.

According to God’s grace that was given to me, I have laid a foundation as a skilled master builder, and another builds on it. But each one must be careful how he builds on it.

And look, I am sending you what My Father promised. As for you, stay in the city until you are empowered from on high.”

To some we are an aroma of death leading to death, but to others, an aroma of life leading to life. And who is competent for this?
