我儕去帕於面、如於鑑反照主榮、皆化為主像、自榮致榮、如出乎主、即聖神也、

吾面去帕、得觀主榮、如鑑照我、主之神化我、效主像、久而彌光、

我眾面不蒙帕、如由鏡得觀主榮、亦必化為此像、由榮而愈榮、即由主之神而化也、

吾人以無帕之面、睟然反映主之光輝、榮上增榮、漸與所映者融為一象；此則主之聖神之妙工也。

And we all, who with unveiled faces contemplate the Lord’s glory, are being transformed into his image with ever- increasing glory, which comes from the Lord, who is the Spirit.

None of our faces are covered with a veil. All of us can see the Lord’s glory and think deeply about it. So we are being changed to become more like him so that we have more and more glory. And this glory comes from the Lord, who is the Holy Spirit.

So all of us who have had that veil removed can see and reflect the glory of the Lord. And the Lord— who is the Spirit— makes us more and more like him as we are changed into his glorious image.

因為那吩咐「要有光從黑暗裡照耀出來」的神，已經照耀了我們的心，為要發出神榮耀的知識之光——這光就在耶穌基督的臉上。

為了你們脫去在過去行為上的舊人。這舊人順著迷惑人的私慾受敗壞，而你們在自己的心靈裡得以更新，並且穿上新人；這新人是照著神的形像，在真理的公義和聖潔中被造成的。

不要效法這世代，要藉著理性的更新而改變，使你們可以分辨什麼是神的旨意——那美善、可喜悅、完美的旨意。

對於他們，這世代的神把這些不信之人的心眼弄瞎了，使他們不能洞察基督榮耀的福音之光。基督就是神的形像。

如今我們對著鏡子觀看，模糊不清，但那時候就要面對面了；如今我所知道的有限，但那時候就要完全知道了，就像我已經被完全知道那樣；

因為神預先所知道的人，神也預先定下他們和他兒子的形像相似，使他兒子在眾多弟兄中做長子；

就像我們帶有了屬塵土的那個人的形像，我們也將帶有屬天的那一位的形像。

因此，如果有人在基督裡，他就是新造的人；舊的已經過去，看哪，新的已經來臨。

是的，也正是為此，你們應當盡量地殷勤，在信仰上加美德；在美德上加知識；在知識上加自制；在自制上加忍耐；在忍耐上加敬神；在敬神上加弟兄之情；在弟兄之情上加愛；因為你們如果有了這些，並且不斷增多這些，它們就會使你們在真正認識我們主耶穌基督的事上，不會成為懶惰的或不結果子的人；就是說，沒有具備這些的就是瞎眼的，他只看得見眼前的，忘記自己過去的罪孽已經得了潔淨。

父啊，我在哪裡，願你所賜給我的人也能與我在哪裡，好讓他們能看見你所賜給我的榮耀，因為你在創世以前就愛我了。

並且穿上了新人。這新人照著創造他那一位的形像不斷地被更新，以致真正認識他。

道成了肉身，居住在我們中間。我們看到了他的榮耀，正是從父而來的獨生子的榮耀，充滿了恩典和真理。

因為，如果有人是這話語的聽者，而不是實行者，這個人就像人對著鏡子觀看自己生來的面貌，

原來屬肉體的思想是敵對神的，因為它不服從神的律法，其實也不能服從；

他拯救了我們；這不是本於我們所做的義行，而是照著他的憐憫，藉著重生的洗滌和聖靈的更新。

使律法的公義規定，成全在我們這些不順著肉體卻順著聖靈行走的人身上。

相反，要穿上主耶穌基督；不要為了私慾而在屬肉體的事上做任何安排。

以賽亞說了這些話，是因為看見了耶穌的榮耀，就講論他的事。

因為受割禮或不受割禮，都算不了什麼；重要的是成為新造的人。

這教義是照著當受稱頌之神的榮耀福音，就是所委託給我的福音。
