But whenever anyone turns to the Lord, the veil is taken away.

But whenever he went into the Tent of Meeting to speak with the Lord, he would remove the veil until he came out again. Then he would give the people whatever instructions the Lord had given him,

There he will remove the cloud of gloom, the shadow of death that hangs over the earth.

In that day the deaf will hear words read from a book, and the blind will see through the gloom and darkness.

As it is written in the Scriptures,‘ They will all be taught by God.’ Everyone who listens to the Father and learns from him comes to me.( Not that anyone has ever seen the Father; only I, who was sent from God, have seen him.)

The Lord your God will delight in you if you obey his voice and keep the commands and decrees written in this Book of Instruction, and if you turn to the Lord your God with all your heart and soul.

This shows that Israel will go a long time without a king or prince, and without sacrifices, sacred pillars, priests, or even idols!But afterward the people will return and devote themselves to the Lord their God and to David’s descendant, their king. In the last days, they will tremble in awe of the Lord and of his goodness.

I want you to understand this mystery, dear brothers and sisters, so that you will not feel proud about yourselves. Some of the people of Israel have hard hearts, but this will last only until the full number of Gentiles comes to Christ.And so all Israel will be saved. As the Scriptures say,“ The one who rescues will come from Jerusalem, and he will turn Israel away from ungodliness.And this is my covenant with them, that I will take away their sins.”

I will teach all your children, and they will enjoy great peace.

Instead, let us test and examine our ways. Let us turn back to the Lord.

“ In the distant future, when you are suffering all these things, you will finally return to the Lord your God and listen to what he tells you.

And they will not need to teach their neighbors, nor will they need to teach their relatives, saying,‘ You should know the Lord.’ For everyone, from the least to the greatest, will know me already,” says the Lord.“ And I will forgive their wickedness, and I will never again remember their sins.”

And if the people of Israel turn from their unbelief, they will be grafted in again, for God has the power to graft them back into the tree.
