For if what was set aside was glorious, what endures will be even more glorious.

若那废掉的有荣光，这长存的就更有荣光了。

若是那逐渐褪色的有荣光，这长存的就更有荣光了。

若是那逐渐褪色的有荣光，这长存的就更有荣光了。

那渐渐消逝的尚且有荣耀，这永远长存的更是荣耀无比。

如果那短暂的有荣光，那长存的就更有荣光了。

这样，那渐渐消失的尚且带有荣光，何况这长存的，难道不更带有荣光吗？

若那廢掉的有榮光，這長存的就更有榮光了。

若是那逐漸褪色的有榮光，這長存的就更有榮光了。

若是那逐漸褪色的有榮光，這長存的就更有榮光了。

那漸漸消逝的尚且有榮耀，這永遠長存的更是榮耀無比。

如果那短暫的有榮光，那長存的就更有榮光了。

那漸漸消逝的制度若是通過榮光而立，這長存的就越發帶着榮光了。

這樣，那漸漸消失的尚且帶有榮光，何況這長存的，難道不更帶有榮光嗎？

蓋暫存者若榮、則永存者更榮矣、○

暫有者若榮、則永存者更榮、

若將廢者有榮、則永存者更有榮、○

夫終須廢棄之臨時制度、且產生於光榮之中、則其永久者之光榮、又為何如！

And if what was transitory came with glory, how much greater is the glory of that which lasts!

The glory of the old lasts for only a short time. How much greater is the glory of the new! It will last forever.

For if what was being brought to an end came with glory, much more will what is permanent have glory.

So if the old way, which has been replaced, was glorious, how much more glorious is the new, which remains forever!

For if that which fades away was with glory, much more that which remains is in glory.

For if what is passing away was glorious, what remains is much more glorious.

For if that which passeth away was with glory, much more that which remaineth is in glory.

For if what was fading away was glorious, what endures will be even more glorious.

For if that which is done away[ was] glorious, much more that which remaineth[ is] glorious.

For if what was made ineffective came with glory, how much more has what remains come in glory!

For if that which passes away was with glory, much more that which remains is in glory.

The law came along to multiply the trespass. But where sin multiplied, grace multiplied even moreso that, just as sin reigned in death, so also grace will reign through righteousness, resulting in eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.

By saying a new covenant, he has declared that the first is obsolete. And what is obsolete and growing old is about to pass away.

but he became a priest with an oath made by the one who said to him: The Lord has sworn and will not change his mind,“ You are a priest forever.”Because of this oath, Jesus has also become the guarantee of a better covenant.Now many have become Levitical priests, since they are prevented by death from remaining in office.But because he remains forever, he holds his priesthood permanently.Therefore, he is able to save completely those who come to God through him, since he always lives to intercede for them.

Therefore, since we have this ministry because we were shown mercy, we do not give up.

He has made us competent to be ministers of a new covenant, not of the letter, but of the Spirit. For the letter kills, but the Spirit gives life.Now if the ministry that brought death, chiseled in letters on stones, came with glory, so that the Israelites were not able to gaze steadily at Moses’s face because of its glory, which was set aside,

See to it that you do not reject the one who speaks. For if they did not escape when they rejected him who warned them on earth, even less will we if we turn away from him who warns us from heaven.His voice shook the earth at that time, but now he has promised, Yet once more I will shake not only the earth but also the heavens.This expression,“ Yet once more,” indicates the removal of what can be shaken— that is, created things— so that what is not shaken might remain.Therefore, since we are receiving a kingdom that cannot be shaken, let us be thankful. By it, we may serve God acceptably, with reverence and awe,for our God is a consuming fire.
