因為我們在神面前，無論在得救的人身上或滅亡的人身上，都有基督馨香之氣。

蓋我儕於天主前、為基督之馨香、於得救者、亦於沈淪者、

蓋吾人乃基督所獻於天主之馨香也；蒙救者聞焉、沉淪者亦聞焉；

For we are to God the pleasing aroma of Christ among those who are being saved and those who are perishing.

God considers us to be the pleasing smell that Christ is spreading. He is spreading it among people who are being saved and people who are dying.

For we are the aroma of Christ to God among those who are being saved and among those who are perishing,

Our lives are a Christ like fragrance rising up to God. But this fragrance is perceived differently by those who are being saved and by those who are perishing.

For to God we are the fragrance of Christ among those who are being saved and among those who are perishing.

因為十字架的道理，在那滅亡的人為愚拙；在我們得救的人，卻為神的大能。

也要憑愛心行事，正如基督愛我們，為我們捨了自己，當作馨香的供物和祭物，獻與神。

我從萬民中領你們出來，從分散的列國內聚集你們，那時我必悅納你們好像馨香之祭，要在外邦人眼前在你們身上顯為聖。

但我樣樣都有，並且有餘。我已經充足，因我從以巴弗提受了你們的餽送，當作極美的香氣，為神所收納、所喜悅的祭物。

如果我們的福音蒙蔽，就是蒙蔽在滅亡的人身上。此等不信之人被這世界的神弄瞎了心眼，不叫基督榮耀福音的光照着他們。基督本是神的像。

並且在那沉淪的人身上行各樣出於不義的詭詐；因他們不領受愛真理的心，使他們得救。

要從他們手中接過來，燒在耶和華面前壇上的燔祭上，是獻給耶和華為馨香的火祭。

耶和華從我出胎，造就我作他的僕人，要使雅各歸向他，使以色列到他那裏聚集。原來耶和華看我為尊貴；我的神也成為我的力量。現在他說：你作我的僕人，使雅各眾支派復興，使以色列中得保全的歸回尚為小事，我還要使你作外邦人的光，叫你施行我的救恩，直到地極。

耶和華聞那馨香之氣，就心裏說：「我不再因人的緣故咒詛地（人從小時心裏懷着惡念），也不再按着我才行的滅各種的活物了。

要把全羊燒在壇上，是給耶和華獻的燔祭，是獻給耶和華為馨香的火祭。
