因為在神面前，無論在得救的人中間，還是在滅亡的人中間，我們都是基督的馨香：

因为我们在神面前，无论在得救的人身上或灭亡的人身上，都有基督馨香之气。

因为无论在得救的人或在灭亡的人当中，我们都是基督馨香之气，是献给上帝的。

蓋我儕於天主前、為基督之馨香、於得救者、亦於沈淪者、

蓋吾人乃基督所獻於天主之馨香也；蒙救者聞焉、沉淪者亦聞焉；

For we are to God the pleasing aroma of Christ among those who are being saved and those who are perishing.

God considers us to be the pleasing smell that Christ is spreading. He is spreading it among people who are being saved and people who are dying.

For we are the aroma of Christ to God among those who are being saved and among those who are perishing,

Our lives are a Christ like fragrance rising up to God. But this fragrance is perceived differently by those who are being saved and by those who are perishing.

For to God we are the fragrance of Christ among those who are being saved and among those who are perishing.

原來，十字架的福音對那些正在滅亡的人來說，是愚拙的；但是對我們這些正在被拯救的人來說，卻是神的大能。

要在愛中行事，就像基督也愛了我們，為我們捨棄了自己，做供物和祭物獻給神，成為馨香的氣味。

如今我一切都得到了，並且豐足有餘。我已經得以滿足了，因為我從以帕弗迪托接受了來自你們的東西；那是馨香的氣味，是神所悅納、所喜悅的祭物。

但如果我們的福音真的被遮蓋了，也是在那些正滅亡的人中被遮蓋的。對於他們，這世代的神把這些不信之人的心眼弄瞎了，使他們不能洞察基督榮耀的福音之光。基督就是神的形像。

並且使用一切不義的詭計，因為他們不接受那能使他們得救的真理之愛。

耶和華從我在母腹中時就塑造我作他的僕人，為要使雅各回轉歸向他，使以色列聚集到他那裡——我在耶和華眼中看為尊貴，我的神是我的力量——現在耶和華說：「你作為我的僕人，使雅各眾支派復興、使以色列中蒙保守的人回歸，只是小事！我還要使你作列國之光，使我的救恩達到地極。」

耶和華聞到了那馨香之氣，就心裡說：「我絕不再因人的緣故詛咒這地，儘管人從年幼時就心懷邪惡；我也絕不再像我曾做的，毀滅所有的活物。
