Be diligent to present yourself approved to God as a worker who does not need to be ashamed, accurately handling the word of truth.

The Lord will rescue me from every evil deed, and will bring me safely to His heavenly kingdom; to Him be the glory forever and ever. Amen.

Now may the God of peace Himself sanctify you entirely; and may your spirit and soul and body be kept complete, without blame at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.

And this I pray, that your love may overflow still more and more in real knowledge and all discernment,so that you may discover the things that are excellent, that you may be sincere and blameless for the day of Christ;having been filled with the fruit of righteousness which comes through Jesus Christ, for the glory and praise of God.

Blessed is a man who perseveres under trial; for once he has been approved, he will receive the crown of life which the Lord has promised to those who love Him.

Keep your behavior excellent among the Gentiles, so that in the thing in which they slander you as evildoers, they may because of your good deeds, as they observe them, glorify God on the day of visitation.

You are distinguished, but we are without honor!Up to this present hour we are both hungry and thirsty, and are poorly clothed and roughly treated and homeless;and we labor, working with our own hands; when we are verbally abused, we bless; when we are persecuted, we endure it;when we are slandered, we reply as friends; we have become as the scum of the world, the dregs of all things, even until now.

For there also have to be factions among you, so that those who are approved may become evident among you.

Never repay evil for evil to anyone. Respect what is right in the sight of all people.
