But he said to me,“ My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ’s power may rest on me.

But he said to me,“ My grace is all you need. My power is strongest when you are weak.” So I am very happy to brag about how weak I am. Then Christ’s power can rest on me.

Each time he said,“ My grace is all you need. My power works best in weakness.” So now I am glad to boast about my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ can work through me.

Therefore I take pleasure in weaknesses, in injuries, in necessities, in persecutions, and in distresses, for Christ’s sake. For when I am weak, then am I strong.

He gives power to the weak. He increases the strength of him who has no might.Even the youths faint and get weary, and the young men utterly fall;but those who wait for Yahweh will renew their strength. They will mount up with wings like eagles. They will run, and not be weary. They will walk, and not faint.

that he would grant you, according to the riches of his glory, that you may be strengthened with power through his Spirit in the inner person,

When you pass through the waters, I will be with you, and through the rivers, they will not overflow you. When you walk through the fire, you will not be burned, and flame will not scorch you.

Haven’t I commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Don’t be afraid. Don’t be dismayed, for Yahweh your God is with you wherever you go.”

No temptation has taken you except what is common to man. God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted above what you are able, but will with the temptation also make the way of escape, that you may be able to endure it.

But by the grace of God I am what I am. His grace which was given to me was not futile, but I worked more than all of them; yet not I, but the grace of God which was with me.

not that we are sufficient of ourselves, to account anything as from ourselves; but our sufficiency is from God,who also made us sufficient as servants of a new covenant, not of the letter, but of the Spirit. For the letter kills, but the Spirit gives life.

Let’s therefore draw near with boldness to the throne of grace, that we may receive mercy and may find grace for help in time of need.

But because you are partakers of Christ’s sufferings, rejoice, that at the revelation of his glory you also may rejoice with exceeding joy.If you are insulted for the name of Christ, you are blessed; because the Spirit of glory and of God rests on you. On their part he is blasphemed, but on your part he is glorified.

On behalf of such a one I will boast, but on my own behalf I will not boast, except in my weaknesses.

Strengthen the weak hands, and make the feeble knees firm.Tell those who have a fearful heart,“ Be strong! Don’t be afraid! Behold, your God will come with vengeance, God’s retribution. He will come and save you.

The grace of our Lord abounded exceedingly with faith and love which is in Christ Jesus.

Moses said to Yahweh,“ O Lord, I am not eloquent, neither before now, nor since you have spoken to your servant; for I am slow of speech, and of a slow tongue.”Yahweh said to him,“ Who made man’s mouth? Or who makes one mute, or deaf, or seeing, or blind? Isn’t it I, Yahweh?Now therefore go, and I will be with your mouth, and teach you what you shall speak.”Moses said,“ Oh, Lord, please send someone else.”Yahweh’s anger burned against Moses, and he said,“ What about Aaron, your brother, the Levite? I know that he can speak well. Also, behold, he is coming out to meet you. When he sees you, he will be glad in his heart.You shall speak to him, and put the words in his mouth. I will be with your mouth, and with his mouth, and will teach you what you shall do.

for I will give you a mouth and wisdom which all your adversaries will not be able to withstand or to contradict.

strengthened with all power, according to the might of his glory, for all endurance and perseverance with joy,

quenched the power of fire, escaped the edge of the sword, from weakness were made strong, grew mighty in war, and caused foreign armies to flee.

“ Blessed are you when people reproach you, persecute you, and say all kinds of evil against you falsely, for my sake.Rejoice, and be exceedingly glad, for great is your reward in heaven. For that is how they persecuted the prophets who were before you.

Your bars will be iron and bronze. As your days, so your strength will be.“ There is no one like God, Jeshurun, who rides on the heavens for your help, in his excellency on the skies.The eternal God is your dwelling place. Underneath are the everlasting arms. He thrust out the enemy from before you, and said,‘ Destroy!’

that your faith wouldn’t stand in the wisdom of men, but in the power of God.

But when they deliver you up, don’t be anxious how or what you will say, for it will be given you in that hour what you will say.For it is not you who speak, but the Spirit of your Father who speaks in you.

Behold, one in the likeness of the sons of men touched my lips. Then I opened my mouth, and spoke and said to him who stood before me,“ My lord, by reason of the vision my sorrows have overtaken me, and I retain no strength.For how can the servant of this my lord talk with this my lord? For as for me, immediately there remained no strength in me. There was no breath left in me.”Then one like the appearance of a man touched me again, and he strengthened me.He said,“ Greatly beloved man, don’t be afraid. Peace be to you. Be strong. Yes, be strong.” When he spoke to me, I was strengthened, and said,“ Let my lord speak; for you have strengthened me.”

Yahweh, your God, is among you, a mighty one who will save. He will rejoice over you with joy. He will calm you in his love. He will rejoice over you with singing.

We proclaim him, admonishing every man and teaching every man in all wisdom, that we may present every man perfect in Christ Jesus;for which I also labor, striving according to his working, which works in me mightily.

teaching them to observe all things that I commanded you. Behold, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” Amen.

From the lips of babes and infants you have established strength, because of your adversaries, that you might silence the enemy and the avenger.

If I must boast, I will boast of the things that concern my weakness.

Yahweh will create over the whole habitation of Mount Zion and over her assemblies, a cloud and smoke by day, and the shining of a flaming fire by night, for over all the glory will be a canopy.There will be a pavilion for a shade in the daytime from the heat, and for a refuge and for a shelter from storm and from rain.

Then I said,“ Ah, Lord Yahweh! Behold, I don’t know how to speak; for I am a child.”But Yahweh said to me,“ Don’t say,‘ I am a child;’ for you must go to whomever I send you, and you must say whatever I command you.Don’t be afraid because of them, for I am with you to rescue you,” says Yahweh.Then Yahweh stretched out his hand, and touched my mouth. Then Yahweh said to me,“ Behold, I have put my words in your mouth.

Jesus came to them and spoke to them, saying,“ All authority has been given to me in heaven and on earth.

For I, Yahweh your God, will hold your right hand, saying to you,‘ Don’t be afraid. I will help you.’Don’t be afraid, you worm Jacob, and you men of Israel. I will help you,” says Yahweh.“ Your Redeemer is the Holy One of Israel.Behold, I have made you into a new sharp threshing instrument with teeth. You will thresh the mountains, and beat them small, and will make the hills like chaff.You will winnow them, and the wind will carry them away, and the whirlwind will scatter them. You will rejoice in Yahweh. You will glory in the Holy One of Israel.

I will most gladly spend and be spent for your souls. If I love you more abundantly, am I loved the less?

Yahweh’s Spirit will rest on him: the spirit of wisdom and understanding, the spirit of counsel and might, the spirit of knowledge and of the fear of Yahweh.

Moses said to God,“ Who am I, that I should go to Pharaoh, and that I should bring the children of Israel out of Egypt?”He said,“ Certainly I will be with you. This will be the token to you, that I have sent you: when you have brought the people out of Egypt, you shall serve God on this mountain.”

When the sons of the prophets who were at Jericho facing him saw him, they said,“ The spirit of Elijah rests on Elisha.” They came to meet him, and bowed themselves to the ground before him.
