But he said to me,“ My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ’s power may rest on me.

But he said to me,“ My grace is all you need. My power is strongest when you are weak.” So I am very happy to brag about how weak I am. Then Christ’s power can rest on me.

I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.

Therefore I take pleasure in infirmities, in reproaches, in needs, in persecutions, in distresses, for Christ’s sake. For when I am weak, then I am strong.

He gives power to the weak, And to those who have no might He increases strength.Even the youths shall faint and be weary, And the young men shall utterly fall,But those who wait on the Lord Shall renew their strength; They shall mount up with wings like eagles, They shall run and not be weary, They shall walk and not faint.

that He would grant you, according to the riches of His glory, to be strengthened with might through His Spirit in the inner man,

When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; And through the rivers, they shall not overflow you. When you walk through the fire, you shall not be burned, Nor shall the flame scorch you.

Have I not commanded you? Be strong and of good courage; do not be afraid, nor be dismayed, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go.”

No temptation has overtaken you except such as is common to man; but God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted beyond what you are able, but with the temptation will also make the way of escape, that you may be able to bear it.

But by the grace of God I am what I am, and His grace toward me was not in vain; but I labored more abundantly than they all, yet not I, but the grace of God which was with me.

Not that we are sufficient of ourselves to think of anything as being from ourselves, but our sufficiency is from God,who also made us sufficient as ministers of the new covenant, not of the letter but of the Spirit; for the letter kills, but the Spirit gives life.

Let us therefore come boldly to the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy and find grace to help in time of need.

but rejoice to the extent that you partake of Christ’s sufferings, that when His glory is revealed, you may also be glad with exceeding joy.If you are reproached for the name of Christ, blessed are you, for the Spirit of glory and of God rests upon you. On their part He is blasphemed, but on your part He is glorified.

Of such a one I will boast; yet of myself I will not boast, except in my infirmities.

Strengthen the weak hands, And make firm the feeble knees.Say to those who are fearful-hearted,“ Be strong, do not fear! Behold, your God will come with vengeance, With the recompense of God; He will come and save you.”

And the grace of our Lord was exceedingly abundant, with faith and love which are in Christ Jesus.

Then Moses said to the Lord,“ O my Lord, I am not eloquent, neither before nor since You have spoken to Your servant; but I am slow of speech and slow of tongue.”So the Lord said to him,“ Who has made man’s mouth? Or who makes the mute, the deaf, the seeing, or the blind? Have not I, the Lord?Now therefore, go, and I will be with your mouth and teach you what you shall say.”But he said,“ O my Lord, please send by the hand of whomever else You may send.”So the anger of the Lord was kindled against Moses, and He said:“ Is not Aaron the Levite your brother? I know that he can speak well. And look, he is also coming out to meet you. When he sees you, he will be glad in his heart.Now you shall speak to him and put the words in his mouth. And I will be with your mouth and with his mouth, and I will teach you what you shall do.

for I will give you a mouth and wisdom which all your adversaries will not be able to contradict or resist.

strengthened with all might, according to His glorious power, for all patience and longsuffering with joy;

quenched the violence of fire, escaped the edge of the sword, out of weakness were made strong, became valiant in battle, turned to flight the armies of the aliens.

Blessed are you when they revile and persecute you, and say all kinds of evil against you falsely for My sake.Rejoice and be exceedingly glad, for great is your reward in heaven, for so they persecuted the prophets who were before you.

Your sandals shall be iron and bronze; As your days, so shall your strength be.“ There is no one like the God of Jeshurun, Who rides the heavens to help you, And in His excellency on the clouds.The eternal God is your refuge, And underneath are the everlasting arms; He will thrust out the enemy from before you, And will say,‘ Destroy!’

that your faith should not be in the wisdom of men but in the power of God.

But when they deliver you up, do not worry about how or what you should speak. For it will be given to you in that hour what you should speak;for it is not you who speak, but the Spirit of your Father who speaks in you.

And suddenly, one having the likeness of the sons of men touched my lips; then I opened my mouth and spoke, saying to him who stood before me,“ My Lord, because of the vision my sorrows have overwhelmed me, and I have retained no strength.For how can this servant of my Lord talk with you, my Lord? As for me, no strength remains in me now, nor is any breath left in me.”Then again, the one having the likeness of a man touched me and strengthened me.And he said,“ O man greatly beloved, fear not! Peace be to you; be strong, yes, be strong!” So when he spoke to me I was strengthened, and said,“ Let my Lord speak, for you have strengthened me.”

The Lord your God in your midst, The Mighty One, will save; He will rejoice over you with gladness, He will quiet you with His love, He will rejoice over you with singing.”

Him we preach, warning every man and teaching every man in all wisdom, that we may present every man perfect in Christ Jesus.To this end I also labor, striving according to His working which works in me mightily.

teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” Amen.

Out of the mouth of babes and nursing infants You have ordained strength, Because of Your enemies, That You may silence the enemy and the avenger.

If I must boast, I will boast in the things which concern my infirmity.

then the Lord will create above every dwelling place of Mount Zion, and above her assemblies, a cloud and smoke by day and the shining of a flaming fire by night. For over all the glory there will be a covering.And there will be a tabernacle for shade in the daytime from the heat, for a place of refuge, and for a shelter from storm and rain.

Then said I:“ Ah, Lord GOD! Behold, I cannot speak, for I am a youth.”But the Lord said to me:“ Do not say,‘ I am a youth,’ For you shall go to all to whom I send you, And whatever I command you, you shall speak.Do not be afraid of their faces, For I am with you to deliver you,” says the Lord.Then the Lord put forth His hand and touched my mouth, and the Lord said to me:“ Behold, I have put My words in your mouth.

And Jesus came and spoke to them, saying,“ All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth.

For I, the Lord your God, will hold your right hand, Saying to you,‘ Fear not, I will help you.’“ Fear not, you worm Jacob, You men of Israel! I will help you,” says the Lord And your Redeemer, the Holy One of Israel.“ Behold, I will make you into a new threshing sledge with sharp teeth; You shall thresh the mountains and beat them small, And make the hills like chaff.You shall winnow them, the wind shall carry them away, And the whirlwind shall scatter them; You shall rejoice in the Lord, And glory in the Holy One of Israel.

And I will very gladly spend and be spent for your souls; though the more abundantly I love you, the less I am loved.

The Spirit of the Lord shall rest upon Him, The Spirit of wisdom and understanding, The Spirit of counsel and might, The Spirit of knowledge and of the fear of the Lord.

But Moses said to God,“ Who am I that I should go to Pharaoh, and that I should bring the children of Israel out of Egypt?”So He said,“ I will certainly be with you. And this shall be a sign to you that I have sent you: When you have brought the people out of Egypt, you shall serve God on this mountain.”

Now when the sons of the prophets who were from Jericho saw him, they said,“ The spirit of Elijah rests on Elisha.” And they came to meet him, and bowed to the ground before him.
