But he said to me,“ My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ’s power may rest on me.

But he said to me,“ My grace is all you need. My power is strongest when you are weak.” So I am very happy to brag about how weak I am. Then Christ’s power can rest on me.

Therefore I delight in weaknesses, in insults, in distresses, in persecutions, in difficulties, in behalf of Christ; for when I am weak, then I am strong.

He gives strength to the weary, And to the one who lacks might He increases power.Though youths grow weary and tired, And vigorous young men stumble badly,Yet those who wait for the Lord Will gain new strength; They will mount up with wings like eagles, They will run and not get tired, They will walk and not become weary.

that He would grant you, according to the riches of His glory, to be strengthened with power through His Spirit in the inner self,

When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; And through the rivers, they will not overflow you. When you walk through the fire, you will not be scorched, Nor will the flame burn you.

Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous! Do not be terrified nor dismayed, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go.”

No temptation has overtaken you except something common to mankind; and God is faithful, so He will not allow you to be tempted beyond what you are able, but with the temptation will provide the way of escape also, so that you will be able to endure it.

But by the grace of God I am what I am, and His grace toward me did not prove vain; but I labored even more than all of them, yet not I, but the grace of God with me.

Not that we are adequate in ourselves so as to consider anything as having come from ourselves, but our adequacy is from God,who also made us adequate as servants of a new covenant, not of the letter but of the Spirit; for the letter kills, but the Spirit gives life.

Therefore let’s approach the throne of grace with confidence, so that we may receive mercy and find grace for help at the time of our need.

but to the degree that you share the sufferings of Christ, keep on rejoicing, so that at the revelation of His glory you may also rejoice and be overjoyed.If you are insulted for the name of Christ, you are blessed, because the Spirit of glory, and of God, rests upon you.

In behalf of such a man I will boast; but in my own behalf I will not boast, except regarding my weaknesses.

Strengthen the exhausted, and make the feeble strong.Say to those with anxious heart,“ Take courage, fear not. Behold, your God will come with vengeance; The retribution of God will come, But He will save you.”

and the grace of our Lord was more than abundant, with the faith and love which are found in Christ Jesus.

Then Moses said to the Lord,“ Please, Lord, I have never been eloquent, neither recently nor in time past, nor since You have spoken to Your servant; for I am slow of speech and slow of tongue.”But the Lord said to him,“ Who has made the human mouth? Or who makes anyone unable to speak or deaf, or able to see or blind? Is it not I, the Lord?Now then go, and I Myself will be with your mouth, and instruct you in what you are to say.”But he said,“ Please, Lord, now send the message by whomever You will.”Then the anger of the Lord burned against Moses, and He said,“ Is there not your brother Aaron the Levite? I know that he speaks fluently. And moreover, behold, he is coming out to meet you; when he sees you, he will be overjoyed.So you are to speak to him and put the words in his mouth; and I Myself will be with your mouth and his mouth, and I will instruct you in what you are to do.

for I will provide you eloquence and wisdom which none of your adversaries will be able to oppose or refute.

strengthened with all power, according to His glorious might, for the attaining of all perseverance and patience; joyously

quenched the power of fire, escaped the edge of the sword, from weakness were made strong, became mighty in war, put foreign armies to flight.

“ Blessed are you when people insult you and persecute you, and falsely say all kinds of evil against you because of Me.Rejoice and be glad, for your reward in heaven is great; for in this same way they persecuted the prophets who were before you.

Your bars will be iron and bronze, And as your days, so will your strength be.“ There is no one like the God of Jeshurun, Who rides the heavens to your help, And the clouds in His majesty.The eternal God is a hiding place, And underneath are the everlasting arms; And He drove out the enemy from you, And said,‘ Destroy!’

so that your faith would not rest on the wisdom of mankind, but on the power of God.

But when they hand you over, do not worry about how or what you are to say; for what you are to say will be given you in that hour.For it is not you who are speaking, but it is the Spirit of your Father who is speaking in you.

And behold, one who resembled a human was touching my lips. Then I opened my mouth and spoke and said to him who was standing before me,“ My lord, due to the vision anguish has come upon me, and I have retained no strength.For how can such a servant of my lord talk with such as my lord? As for me, there remains just now no strength in me, nor has any breath been left in me.”Then this one with human appearance touched me again and strengthened me.And he said,“ You who are treasured, do not be afraid. Peace be to you; take courage and be courageous!” Now as soon as he spoke to me, I felt strengthened and said,“ May my lord speak, for you have strengthened me.”

The Lord your God is in your midst, A victorious warrior. He will rejoice over you with joy, He will be quiet in His love, He will rejoice over you with shouts of joy.

We proclaim Him, admonishing every person and teaching every person with all wisdom, so that we may present every person complete in Christ.For this purpose I also labor, striving according to His power which works mightily within me.

teaching them to follow all that I commanded you; and behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.”

From the mouths of infants and nursing babies You have established strength Because of Your enemies, To do away with the enemy and the revengeful.

If I have to boast, I will boast of what pertains to my weakness.

then the Lord will create over the entire area of Mount Zion and over her assemblies a cloud by day, and smoke, and the brightness of a flaming fire by night; for over all the glory will be a canopy.And there will be a shelter to give shade from the heat by day, and refuge and protection from the storm and the rain.

Then I said,“ Oh, Lord God! Behold, I do not know how to speak, Because I am a youth.”But the Lord said to me,“ Do not say,‘ I am a youth,’ Because everywhere I send you, you shall go, And all that I command you, you shall speak.Do not be afraid of them, For I am with you to save you,” declares the Lord.Then the Lord stretched out His hand and touched my mouth, and the Lord said to me,“ Behold, I have put My words in your mouth.

And Jesus came up and spoke to them, saying,“ All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to Me.

For I am the Lord your God who takes hold of your right hand, Who says to you,‘ Do not fear, I will help you.’Do not fear, you worm Jacob, you people of Israel; I will help you,” declares the Lord,“ and your Redeemer is the Holy One of Israel.Behold, I turned you into a new, sharp threshing sledge with double edges; You will thresh the mountains and pulverize them, And make the hills like chaff.You will winnow them, and the wind will carry them away, And the storm will scatter them; But you will rejoice in the Lord, You will boast in the Holy One of Israel.

I will most gladly spend and be expended for your souls. If I love you more, am I to be loved less?

The Spirit of the Lord will rest on Him, The spirit of wisdom and understanding, The spirit of counsel and strength, The spirit of knowledge and the fear of the Lord.

But Moses said to God,“ Who am I, that I should go to Pharaoh, and that I should bring the sons of Israel out of Egypt?”And He said,“ Assuredly I will be with you, and this shall be the sign to you that it is I who have sent you: when you have brought the people out of Egypt, you shall worship God at this mountain.”

Now when the sons of the prophets who were at Jericho opposite him saw him, they said,“ The spirit of Elijah has settled on Elisha.” And they came to meet him and bowed down to the ground before him.
