即誇亦不為愚、以我所言者真也、但我自戒、恐人過其所見所聞於我者而擬我、

即誇亦不為狂、我言乃真、但余不言、恐人謂我過於所見所聞、

若欲自誇、亦不為狂、蓋我言乃真、但我自禁不言、恐有人以為我逾於所見於我、所聞於我者、

吾即欲誇、亦不致為狂妄、以所言皆實耳。然吾不欲多言、恐人之視我太高、超乎所見所聞於吾者。

Even if I should choose to boast, I would not be a fool, because I would be speaking the truth. But I refrain, so no one will think more of me than is warranted by what I do or say,

Suppose I decide to brag. That would not make me a fool, because I would be telling the truth. But I don’t brag, so that no one will think more of me than they should. People should judge me by what I do and say.

though if I should wish to boast, I would not be a fool, for I would be speaking the truth; But I refrain from it, so that no one may think more of me than he sees in me or hears from me.

If I wanted to boast, I would be no fool in doing so, because I would be telling the truth. But I won’t do it, because I don’t want anyone to give me credit beyond what they can see in my life or hear in my message,

我再说，谁也不要以为我是愚昧的；就算这样，也要接纳我这个愚昧的人，使我可以稍微地夸口。

我成了愚妄的人，是你们逼成的。其实你们应该称赞我，因为我虽然算不得什么，却没有一点比不上那些“超等使徒”。

又因为我所得的启示太大，恐怕会高抬自己，所以就有一根刺加在我的身上，就是撒但的差役来攻击我，免得我高抬自己。

主耶稣的父神是应当永远受称颂的，他知道我没有说谎。

如果不是这样，谁能证明我是撒谎的，指出我的言语为空虚的呢？”

我们是神的同工，你们是神的田地，神的房屋。我照着神赐给我的恩典，就像一个聪明的工程师，立好了根基，别人在上面建造。各人要注意怎样在上面建造，

我在基督里说的是实话，并没有撒谎，因为我的良心在圣灵里一同为我作证；

如果我们疯狂，那是为了神；如果我们清醒，那是为了你们。

主把权柄赐给我们，是为了要造就你们，不是要破坏你们，就算我为这权柄夸口过分了一点，也不会觉得惭愧。不要以为我写信是用来吓你们。因为有人说：“他的信又严厉又强硬，他本人却其貌不扬，言语粗俗。”

亚波罗算什么？保罗算什么？我们不过是神的仆人，你们藉着我们信了主；按着主所赐给各人的，

神是信实的，我们向你们所传的道并不是“是”而又“非”的，
