We cared so much for you that we were pleased to share with you not only the gospel of God but also our own lives, because you had become dear to us.

But even if I am poured out as a drink offering on the sacrificial service of your faith, I am glad and rejoice with all of you.

When everyone returns except the man you’re looking for, all the people will be at peace.”This proposal seemed right to Absalom and all the elders of Israel.

Look, I am ready to come to you this third time. I will not burden you, since I am not seeking what is yours, but you. For children ought not save up for their parents, but parents for their children.
