假如有人來，傳另一個耶穌，不是我們所傳過的；或者你們另受一個靈，不是你們所受過的聖靈；或者接納另一個福音，不是你們所接納過的；你們居然容忍了！

我感謝神，我說方言比你們眾人還多；

雖然我不擅長說話，我的知識卻不如此。這點我們已經在每一方面各樣事上向你們表明了。

耶穌對他說：「若不看見神蹟奇事，你們總是不信。」

反倒在各樣的事上表明自己是神的用人：就如在持久的忍耐、患難、困苦、災難、鞭打、監禁、動亂、勞碌、失眠、飢餓、廉潔、知識、堅忍、恩慈、聖靈的感化、無偽的愛心、真實的言語、神的大能、藉着仁義的兵器在左在右、榮譽或羞辱、惡名或美名。我們似乎是誘惑人的，卻是誠實的；似乎不為人所知，卻是人所共知；似乎是死了，卻是活着；似乎受懲罰，卻沒有被處死；似乎憂愁，卻常有喜樂；似乎貧窮，卻使許多人富足；似乎一無所有，卻樣樣都有。

我不是自由的嗎？我不是使徒嗎？我不是見過我們的主耶穌嗎？你們不是我在主裏面工作的成果嗎？假若對別人來說，我不是使徒，對你們來說，我總是使徒；因為你們在主裏正是我作使徒的印證。

因為你們在他裏面凡事富足，具有各種口才、各樣知識，正如我為基督作的見證在你們心裏得以堅固，以致你們在恩賜上一無欠缺，切切等候我們主耶穌基督的顯現。
