假如有人來另傳一個耶穌，不是我們所傳過的；或者你們另受一個靈，不是你們所受過的；或者另得一個福音，不是你們所得過的；你們容讓他也就罷了。

我感謝神，我說方言比你們眾人還多。

我的言語雖然粗俗，我的知識卻不粗俗。這是我們在凡事上向你們眾人顯明出來的。

耶穌就對他說：「若不看見神蹟奇事，你們總是不信。」

反倒在各樣的事上表明自己是神的用人，就如在許多的忍耐、患難、窮乏、困苦、鞭打、監禁、擾亂、勤勞、警醒、不食、廉潔、知識、恆忍、恩慈、聖靈的感化、無偽的愛心、真實的道理、神的大能；仁義的兵器在左在右；榮耀、羞辱，惡名、美名；似乎是誘惑人的，卻是誠實的；似乎不為人所知，卻是人所共知的；似乎要死，卻是活着的；似乎受責罰，卻是不致喪命的；似乎憂愁，卻是常常快樂的；似乎貧窮，卻是叫許多人富足的；似乎一無所有，卻是樣樣都有的。

我不是自由的嗎？我不是使徒嗎？我不是見過我們的主耶穌嗎？你們不是我在主裏面所做之工嗎？假若在別人，我不是使徒，在你們，我總是使徒，因為你們在主裏正是我作使徒的印證。

又因你們在他裏面凡事富足，口才、知識都全備，正如我為基督作的見證，在你們心裏得以堅固，以致你們在恩賜上沒有一樣不及人的，等候我們的主耶穌基督顯現。
