Or did I commit a sin in humbling myself that you might be exalted, because I preached to you God’s Good News free of charge?

我因为白白传神的福音给你们，就自居卑微，叫你们高升，这算是我犯罪吗？

我贬低自己，为了使你们高升，因为我白白地传上帝的福音给你们，难道这算是我犯了错吗？

我降卑自己，好使你們被高舉，因為我把神的福音無償地傳給你們，難道我這樣就犯了罪嗎？

我自卑致爾高舉、傳爾上帝福音而無值、乃為罪乎、

我卑以自牧、傳上帝福音、不傷爾財、使爾高舉、是耶否耶、

我傳天主之福音於爾、而不費爾貲、自居卑微、使爾高舉、此為罪乎、

豈因吾之薄於己而厚於爾、乃反獲罪戾乎？

Was it a sin for me to lower myself in order to elevate you by preaching the gospel of God to you free of charge?

I preached God’s good news to you free of charge. When I did that, I was putting myself down in order to lift you up. Was this a sin?

Or did I commit a sin in humbling myself so that you might be exalted, because I preached God’s gospel to you free of charge?

Was I wrong when I humbled myself and honored you by preaching God’s Good News to you without expecting anything in return?

Or did I commit a sin by humbling myself so that you might be exalted, because I preached the gospel of God to you free of charge?

Or did I commit a sin by humbling myself so that you might be exalted, because I preached the gospel of God to you without charge?

Did I commit sin in humbling myself that you might be exalted, because I preached the gospel of God to you free of charge?

Or did I commit a sin in abasing myself that ye might be exalted, because I preached to you the gospel of God for nought?

Or did I commit a sin by humbling myself so that you might be exalted, because I preached the gospel of God to you free of charge?

Have I committed an offence in abasing myself that ye might be exalted, because I have preached to you the gospel of God freely?

Or did I commit a sin by humbling myself so that you could be exalted, because I proclaimed the gospel of God to you free of charge?

For what is there in which you were made inferior to the rest of the assemblies, unless it is that I myself was not a burden to you? Forgive me this wrong.

We are fools for Christ’s sake, but you are wise in Christ. We are weak, but you are strong. You have honor, but we have dishonor.Even to this present hour we hunger, thirst, are naked, are beaten, and have no certain dwelling place.We toil, working with our own hands. When people curse us, we bless. Being persecuted, we endure.

For you remember, brothers, our labor and travail; for working night and day, that we might not burden any of you, we preached to you the Good News of God.

You yourselves know that these hands served my necessities, and those who were with me.

Now I Paul, myself, entreat you by the humility and gentleness of Christ, I who in your presence am lowly among you, but being absent am bold toward you.

Or have only Barnabas and I no right to not work?

Even so the Lord ordained that those who proclaim the Good News should live from the Good News.But I have used none of these things, and I don’t write these things that it may be done so in my case; for I would rather die, than that anyone should make my boasting void.For if I preach the Good News, I have nothing to boast about; for necessity is laid on me; but woe is to me if I don’t preach the Good News.For if I do this of my own will, I have a reward. But if not of my own will, I have a stewardship entrusted to me.What then is my reward? That when I preach the Good News, I may present the Good News of Christ without charge, so as not to abuse my authority in the Good News.

After these things Paul departed from Athens, and came to Corinth.He found a certain Jew named Aquila, a man of Pontus by race, who had recently come from Italy, with his wife Priscilla, because Claudius had commanded all the Jews to depart from Rome. He came to them,and because he practiced the same trade, he lived with them and worked, for by trade they were tent makers.

If others partake of this right over you, don’t we yet more? Nevertheless we didn’t use this right, but we bear all things, that we may cause no hindrance to the Good News of Christ.

neither did we eat bread from anyone’s hand without paying for it, but in labor and travail worked night and day, that we might not burden any of you,
