你們看看眼前的事實吧。倘如有人自信為屬基督的，他要對自己再想想：他怎樣屬基督，我們也怎樣。

You are judging by appearances. If anyone is confident that they belong to Christ, they should consider again that we belong to Christ just as much as they do.

You are judging only by how things look on the surface. Suppose someone is sure they belong to Christ. Then they should consider again that we belong to Christ just as much as they do.

Look at what is before your eyes. If anyone is confident that he is Christ’s, let him remind himself that just as he is Christ’s, so also are we.

Look at the obvious facts. Those who say they belong to Christ must recognize that we belong to Christ as much as they do.

我們不是再向你們推薦自己，乃是給你們有為我們誇口的機會，好使你們對那憑外貌不憑內心的人有可對付。

別按外貌而判斷了，總要作公義的判斷啊。』

他們是基督的僕役麼？瘋狂地說吧，我更是。論勞苦、更繁多；論鞭打、屢過次數；論坐監、更多次；論冒死、屢次有。

若有人自以為是神言傳講師、或是屬靈的，他就該確認我所寫給你們的是主的誡命。

我不是自由的麼？我不是使徒麼？我沒有見過我們的主耶穌麼？你們不是我在主裏的製造物麼？

但你們卻是基督的，基督又是上帝的。

你們如果是屬基督的，那你們就是亞伯拉罕的後裔，照應許做後嗣了。

我說的是：你們各人說：「我是宗保羅的」，「我是宗亞波羅的」，「我是宗磯法的」，「我是宗基督的」。

我保羅、以基督的柔和與溫良、親自勸你們——我，我這個在你們中間和你們面對面時「謙卑（！）」，而不同在時「放膽（！）」的——有人以為我們是憑着肉體行事，我以為我必須以自信之心大膽懲治這種人——我甚至於求你們、不要讓我於和你們同在時有這樣自信之心而放膽。

耶穌對他們說：『你們在人面前自以為義，上帝卻知道你們的心：因為在人中間高貴的、在上帝面前卻是可憎。

你們既尋求基督在我裏面說話的經驗證據，我就說：基督對於你們並不是軟弱；他在你們中間是大有能力的。

但是永恆主對撒母耳說：『不要注意他的容貌、和他身材的高大；我不取他；因為永恆主人看人、不像人看人：人是看面目，永恆主是看內心。』

因為外表上做猶太人的、並不是真的猶太人；外表上肉身上的割禮、也不是真的割禮。惟獨那在心裏面做猶太人的、才是真的猶太人。那屬於心的割禮、才是真的割禮——本着靈、不本着典籍的。這種人之受稱讚、不是由於人，乃是由於上帝。

他們所行的一切事，都是要給人看的，因為他們把小匣經文帶加寬了，衣裳繸子加長了。

既有許多人以屬肉體之事而誇口，我也要誇口。

弟兄們，我要使你們知道，那由我傳的福音並不是照人意傳的。因為我沒有從人領受過，也沒有受過教訓，我乃是藉着耶穌基督的啓示而得的。你們曾聽說我從前在猶太教中的起居為人、怎樣極力逼迫上帝的教會而殘害她，

對這些人、我們連一刻工夫也沒有以順服的態度容讓他們，為要使福音的真理長存在你們中間。至於從那些所謂有名望的人呢（無論他們從前是甚麼樣的人，於我都沒有差別。上帝不以外貌取人）——那些有名望的人於我並沒有增益甚麼。不，相反的，他們看見了我受託付來傳不受割禮的福音，正如彼得受託付去傳受割禮的福音（因為那感動彼得去擔當割禮之使徒職分的、也感動我來擔當外國人之使徒職分）；又知道了主所賜給我的恩，那些有名望的柱石、雅各、磯法、約翰、就伸出團契的右手來跟我和巴拿巴握手，叫我們到外國人中間去，而他們卻到受割禮的人那裏去。

倘若有人來，宣傳另一個耶穌、是我們所沒宣傳過的，或是你們領受了另一個不同的靈、是你們所沒領受過的，或是另一個不同的福音、是你們所沒接受過的，你們容忍他，好啊！

是各人按着適當的等次：初熟果子是基督；後來是屬基督的，就在他御臨的時候；

我成了糊塗人，是你們強逼我的。我本該受你們稱許才是呢。我雖算不了甚麼，卻沒有一件趕不上那些超等的「使徒」啊。
