如果我们没有到过你们那里，现在就自夸得过分了；但事实上，我们早就把基督的福音传到你们那里了。

我们并非过了自己的界限，好像够不到你们那里；因为我们早到你们那里，传了基督的福音。

我非逾乎量如不及爾者然、蓋我宣基督福音已及乎爾、

蓋余治爾、不逾乎分、乃傳基督福音及爾焉、

我儕已及於爾、已至爾處、傳基督之福音、則不可謂我儕過分逾量、

吾儕之於爾等實無鞭長莫及之勢、蓋吾儕已以基督福音庇覆爾等矣。

We are not going too far in our boasting, as would be the case if we had not come to you, for we did get as far as you with the gospel of Christ.

I am not going too far in my bragging. I would be going too far if I hadn’t come to where you live. But I did get there with the good news about Christ.

For we are not overextending ourselves, as though we did not reach you. For we were the first to come all the way to you with the gospel of Christ.

We are not reaching beyond these boundaries when we claim authority over you, as if we had never visited you. For we were the first to travel all the way to Corinth with the Good News of Christ.

For we are not overextending ourselves, as if we had not reached you, since we have come to you with the gospel of Christ.

For we don’t stretch ourselves too much, as though we didn’t reach to you. For we came even as far as to you with the Good News of Christ,

纵然你们在基督里有上万的启蒙教师，可是父亲却不多，因为是我在基督耶稣里藉着福音生了你们。

但神却藉着圣灵把这些向我们显明了，因为圣灵测透万事，连神深奥的事也测透了。

这也要照着我所传的福音，在神藉着耶稣基督审判各人隐情的那一天，彰显出来。

我不是自由的吗？我不是使徒吗？我不是见过我们的主耶稣吗？你们不是我在主里面的工作吗？对别人来说，我或许不是使徒，但对你们来说，我总是使徒，因为你们就是我在主里作使徒的印记。

这是照着可称颂之神所交托我的荣耀福音说的。

从前我为基督的福音到了特罗亚，虽然主给我开了门，

神能依照我所传的福音和耶稣基督所传的信息，照着他奥秘的启示，坚定你们。这奥秘自古以来秘而不宣，

这些不信的人被这世代的神弄瞎了他们的心眼，使他们看不见基督荣耀的福音的光；基督就是神的形象。

我不以福音为耻；这福音是神的大能，要救所有相信的，先是犹太人，后是希腊人。

神的儿子（有些抄本无“神的儿子”一句）耶稣基督福音的开始。

但我并不珍惜自己的性命，只求跑完我的路程，完成我从主耶稣所领受的职分，为神恩惠的福音作见证。

我很惊奇，你们这么快就离开了藉着基督的恩呼召你们的那一位，去归向别的福音。其实那并不是另一个福音，只是有些搅扰你们的人，想把基督的福音改变。但无论是我们，或是从天上来的使者，如果传给你们的和我们以前传给你们的福音不同，他就该受咒诅。

我照着神赐给我的恩典，就像一个聪明的工程师，立好了根基，别人在上面建造。各人要注意怎样在上面建造，

这都是由于那给你们存在天上的盼望，这盼望是你们从前在福音真理的道上听过的。

难道我们又在自我推荐吗？难道我们像有些人，要拿荐信给你们，或向你们拿荐信吗？你们就是我们的荐信，写在我们的心里，是众人所认识所诵读的，显明你们自己是基督的书信，是藉着我们写成的，不是用墨，而是用永活神的灵写的；不是写在石版上，而是写在心版上。

别的我不敢说，我只说基督藉着我所作的事，就是用言语行为，藉着神迹和奇事的大能，以及圣灵的大能，使外族人顺服；这样，我从耶路撒冷直到以利里古，把基督的福音都传开了。

亚波罗算什么？保罗算什么？我们不过是神的仆人，你们藉着我们信了主；按着主所赐给各人的，我栽种了，亚波罗浇灌了，唯有神使它生长。
