今吾喜、非因爾憂、乃因爾憂而生悔改、蓋爾憂、遵上帝道而憂、明我不虧爾、

余恐至時、爾不能副我所望、我不能副爾所望、恐有爭鬥、媢嫉、忿怒、朋黨、毀謗、隱刺、妄誇、混亂、

爾所遇試惑、亦人之常耳、上帝言出惟行、不忍爾遭莫禦之試惑、試惑中、使爾力能禦之、必出迷途、

兄弟歷試諸艱、當以為喜、因知爾信主、試以艱難、則忍自生、惟恆忍至極、則全備無缺、

若同忍難、必同乘權、我若拒主、主必拒我、

受患難而能忍、必有福祉、以歷試後、可得永生之賞、若戴冠冕、主以賜許愛己者、

爾曹恆偕我於患難中、我以國封爾、如我父封我、俾爾在我國、飲食於我席、居位審以色列十二支派焉、

知上帝始助爾為善、迨耶穌基督臨日、必竣其工也、我思爾固宜若是、爾與我共享恩寵、故心常念爾、縲絏在茲、明辯福音在茲、

為我而受人詬誶窘逐、惡言誹謗者福矣、當欣喜歡樂、以在天爾得賞者大也、蓋人窘逐先知、自昔然矣、○
