And whether we be afflicted,[ it is] for your consolation and salvation, which is effectual in the enduring of the same sufferings which we also suffer: or whether we be comforted,[ it is] for your consolation and salvation.

我或受苦、乃為爾得慰得救、使爾能忍我儕同受之苦、我或得慰、亦為爾得慰得救、

然吾儕之受苦、所以成全爾等之安慰及救恩；即吾儕之受慰、亦所以慰勉爾等、俾能以堅忍不拔之精神、與吾儕同受其苦耳。

If we are distressed, it is for your comfort and salvation; if we are comforted, it is for your comfort, which produces in you patient endurance of the same sufferings we suffer.

If we are having trouble, it is so that you will be comforted and renewed. If we are comforted, it is so that you will be comforted. Then you will be able to put up with the same suffering we have gone through.

If we are afflicted, it is for your comfort and salvation; and if we are comforted, it is for your comfort, which you experience when you patiently endure the same sufferings that we suffer.

Even when we are weighed down with troubles, it is for your comfort and salvation! For when we ourselves are comforted, we will certainly comfort you. Then you can patiently endure the same things we suffer.

If we are afflicted, it is for your comfort and salvation. If we are comforted, it is for your comfort, which produces in you patient endurance of the same sufferings that we suffer.

But if we are afflicted, it is for your comfort and salvation; or if we are comforted, it is for your comfort, which is effective in the patient enduring of the same sufferings which we also suffer;

If we are afflicted, it is for your comfort and salvation. If we are comforted, it is for your comfort, which is experienced in your endurance of the same sufferings that we suffer.

But if we are afflicted, it is for your comfort and salvation; if we are comforted, it is for your comfort that you experience in your patient endurance of the same sufferings that we also suffer.

But if we are afflicted, it is for your comfort and salvation. If we are comforted, it is for your comfort, which produces in you the patient enduring of the same sufferings which we also suffer.

Therefore I endure all things for the elect’s sakes, that they may also obtain the salvation which is in Christ Jesus with eternal glory.

Who comforteth us in all our tribulation, that we may be able to comfort them which are in any trouble, by the comfort wherewith we ourselves are comforted of God.

For all things[ are] for your sakes, that the abundant grace might through the thanksgiving of many redound to the glory of God.For which cause we faint not; but though our outward man perish, yet the inward[ man] is renewed day by day.For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, worketh for us a far more exceeding[ and] eternal weight of glory;While we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen: for the things which are seen[ are] temporal; but the things which are not seen[ are] eternal.

For I know that this shall turn to my salvation through your prayer, and the supply of the Spirit of Jesus Christ,

Now he that hath wrought us for the selfsame thing[ is] God, who also hath given unto us the earnest of the Spirit.

And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to[ his] purpose.

For they verily for a few days chastened[ us] after their own pleasure; but he for[ our] profit, that[ we] might be partakers of his holiness.Now no chastening for the present seemeth to be joyous, but grievous: nevertheless afterward it yieldeth the peaceable fruit of righteousness unto them which are exercised thereby.

And I will very gladly spend and be spent for you; though the more abundantly I love you, the less I be loved.

Therefore let no man glory in men. For all things are yours;Whether Paul, or Apollos, or Cephas, or the world, or life, or death, or things present, or things to come; all are yours;And ye are Christ’s; and Christ[ is] God’s.

Wherefore I desire that ye faint not at my tribulations for you, which is your glory.

And not only[ so], but we glory in tribulations also: knowing that tribulation worketh patience;And patience, experience; and experience, hope:And hope maketh not ashamed; because the love of God is shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Ghost which is given unto us.

And when we had accomplished those days, we departed and went our way; and they all brought us on our way, with wives and children, till[ we were] out of the city: and we kneeled down on the shore, and prayed.
