所以，你们应该彼此劝慰，互相造就，正如你们一向所行的。

你们的神说：“你们要安慰，要安慰我的子民！

所以，你们要把下垂的手和发软的腿挺直起来；

我要请求父，他就会赐给你们另一位保惠师，使他跟你们永远在一起。

你是我藏身之处，你必保护我脱离患难，以得救的欢呼四面环绕我。（细拉）

我的心要因耶和华夸耀，困苦的人听见了就喜乐。你们要跟我一起尊耶和华为大，我们来一同高举他的名。我曾求问耶和华，他应允了我，救我脱离一切恐惧。人仰望他，就有光彩，他们的脸必不蒙羞。我这困苦人呼求，耶和华就垂听，拯救我脱离一切患难。

到那日，你必说：“耶和华啊！我要称谢你，因为你虽曾向我发怒，你的怒气却已转消，你又安慰了我。

所有敬畏神的人哪！你们都要来听，我要述说他为我所行的事。

因为耶和华这样说：“看哪！我必使平安达到她那里，好像江河一样，使列国的财宝达到她那里，如同涨溢的河流一般；你们要吮奶，你们必被抱在怀中，抚弄在膝上。人怎样受他母亲的安慰，我也怎样安慰你们；你们要在耶路撒冷得安慰。”你们看见了，就心里快乐，你们的骨头必像嫩草一样长起来，耶和华的手必向他的仆人显现，他必向他的仇敌发怒。

但保惠师，就是父因我的名要差来的圣灵，他要把一切事教导你们，也要使你们想起我对你们所说过的一切话。

我向你承认我的罪，没有隐藏我的罪孽；我说：“我要向耶和华承认我的过犯”；你就赦免我的罪孽。（细拉）

我不会撇下你们为孤儿，我要回到你们这里来。

耶路撒冷的废墟啊！你们要发声，一同欢呼。因为耶和华安慰了他的子民，救赎了耶路撒冷。

我们既然多受基督所受的痛苦，就靠着基督多得安慰。如果我们遭遇患难，那是要使你们得着安慰，得着拯救；如果我们得到安慰，也是要使你们得到安慰。这安慰使你们能够忍受我们所受那样的痛苦。

因此，我们得了安慰。在这安慰之外，我们因提多的喜乐就更加欢喜，因为他的心从你们众人那里得到畅快。

所以，你们应该用这些话彼此劝慰。

耶和华必安慰锡安，他要安慰它的一切荒场，使它的旷野像伊甸园一样，使它的荒地像耶和华的园子一般，在其中必有欢喜快乐、感谢和歌声。

而且大多数主内的弟兄，因我所受的捆锁，就笃信不疑，毫无畏惧，更勇敢地传讲神的道。

他们必不饥饿，也不口渴，炎热和太阳必不伤害他们，因为那怜悯他们的，要引领他们，带领他们到水泉的旁边。

求你向我显出恩待我的记号，好使恨我的人看见了，就觉得羞愧；因为你耶和华帮助了我，安慰了我。
