For how many soever be the promises of God, in him is the yea: wherefore also through him is the Amen, unto the glory of God through us.

For no matter how many promises God has made, they are“ Yes” in Christ. And so through him the“ Amen” is spoken by us to the glory of God.

God has made a great many promises. They are all“ Yes” because of what Christ has done. So through Christ we say“ Amen.” We want God to receive glory.

For all the promises of God find their Yes in him. That is why it is through him that we utter our Amen to God for his glory.

For all of God’s promises have been fulfilled in Christ with a resounding“ Yes!” And through Christ, our“ Amen”( which means“ Yes”) ascends to God for his glory.

For every one of God’s promises is“ Yes” in him. Therefore, through him we also say“ Amen” to the glory of God.

For as many as the promises of God are, in Him they are yes; therefore through Him also is our Amen to the glory of God through us.

saying, Amen: Blessing, and glory, and wisdom, and thanksgiving, and honor, and power, and might, be unto our God for ever and ever. Amen.

And to the angel of the church in Laodicea write: These things saith the Amen, the faithful and true witness, the beginning of the creation of God:

For of him, and through him, and unto him, are all things. To him be the glory for ever. Amen.

For the wages of sin is death; but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.

that in the ages to come he might show the exceeding riches of his grace in kindness toward us in Christ Jesus:

But the scripture shut up all things under sin, that the promise by faith in Jesus Christ might be given to them that believe.

For Jehovah hath built up Zion; He hath appeared in his glory.

when he shall come to be glorified in his saints, and to be marvelled at in all them that believed( because our testimony unto you was believed) in that day.

These all died in faith, not having received the promises, but having seen them and greeted them from afar, and having confessed that they were strangers and pilgrims on the earth.

Ye are the sons of the prophets, and of the covenant which God made with your fathers, saying unto Abraham, And in thy seed shall all the families of the earth be blessed.Unto you first God, having raised up his Servant, sent him to bless you, in turning away every one of you from your iniquities.

And these all, having had witness borne to them through their faith, received not the promise,God having provided some better thing concerning us, that apart from us they should not be made perfect.

Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except one be born of water and the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God.

Now to Abraham were the promises spoken, and to his seed. Blessed be the Lord, the God of Israel; For he hath visited and wrought redemption for his people,And hath raised up a horn of salvation for us In the house of his servant David( As he spake by the mouth of his holy prophets that have been from of old),Salvation from our enemies, and from the hand of all that hate us;To show mercy towards our fathers, And to remember his holy covenant;The oath which he sware unto Abraham our father,To grant unto us that we being delivered out of the hand of our enemies Should serve him without fear,

Glory to God in the highest, And on earth peace among men in whom he is well pleased.

but he whose genealogy is not counted from them hath taken tithes of Abraham, and hath blessed him that hath the promises.

And we bring you good tidings of the promise made unto the fathers,that God hath fulfilled the same unto our children, in that he raised up Jesus; as also it is written in the second psalm, Thou art my Son, this day have I begotten thee.And as concerning that he raised him up from the dead, now no more to return to corruption, he hath spoken on this wise, I will give you the holy and sure blessings of David.Because he saith also in another psalm, Thou wilt not give thy Holy One to see corruption.For David, after he had in his own generation served the counsel of God, fell asleep, and was laid unto his fathers, and saw corruption:but he whom God raised up saw no corruption.Be it known unto you therefore, brethren, that through this man is proclaimed unto you remission of sins:and by him every one that believeth is justified from all things, from which ye could not be justified by the law of Moses.

Wherefore receive ye one another, even as Christ also received you, to the glory of God.For I say that Christ hath been made a minister of the circumcision for the truth of God, that he might confirm the promises given unto the fathers,and that the Gentiles might glorify God for his mercy; as it is written, Therefore will I give praise unto thee among the Gentiles, And sing unto thy name.

that ye be not sluggish, but imitators of them who through faith and patience inherit the promises.For when God made promise to Abraham, since he could swear by none greater, he sware by himself,saying, Surely blessing I will bless thee, and multiplying I will multiply thee.And thus, having patiently endured, he obtained the promise.For men swear by the greater: and in every dispute of theirs the oath is final for confirmation.Wherein God, being minded to show more abundantly unto the heirs of the promise the immutability of his counsel, interposed with an oath;that by two immutable things, in which it is impossible for God to lie, we may have a strong encouragement, who have fled for refuge to lay hold of the hope set before us:which we have as an anchor of the soul, a hope both sure and stedfast and entering into that which is within the veil;

And bring us not into temptation, but deliver us from the evil one.

and I will put enmity between thee and the woman, and between thy seed and her seed: he shall bruise thy head, and thou shalt bruise his heel.

Therefore the Lord himself will give you a sign: behold, a virgin shall conceive, and bear a son, and shall call his name Immanuel.

To whom it was revealed, that not unto themselves, but unto you, did they minister these things, which now have been announced unto you through them that preached the gospel unto you by the Holy Spirit sent forth from heaven; which things angels desire to look into.

Else if thou bless with the spirit, how shall he that filleth the place of the unlearned say the Amen at thy giving of thanks, seeing he knoweth not what thou sayest?

For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given; and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.Of the increase of his government and of peace there shall be no end, upon the throne of David, and upon his kingdom, to establish it, and to uphold it with justice and with righteousness from henceforth even for ever. The zeal of Jehovah of hosts will perform this.

His name shall endure for ever; His name shall be continued as long as the sun: And men shall be blessed in him; All nations shall call him happy.

so that he who blesseth himself in the earth shall bless himself in the God of truth; and he that sweareth in the earth shall swear by the God of truth; because the former troubles are forgotten, and because they are hid from mine eyes.

Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, and the truth, and the life: no one cometh unto the Father, but by me.

Unto me, who am less than the least of all saints, was this grace given, to preach unto the Gentiles the unsearchable riches of Christ;and to make all men see what is the dispensation of the mystery which for ages hath been hid in God who created all things;to the intent that now unto the principalities and the powers in the heavenly places might be made known through the church the manifold wisdom of God,

The sceptre shall not depart from Judah, Nor the ruler’s staff from between his feet, Until Shiloh come; And unto him shall the obedience of the peoples be.

For the law was given through Moses; grace and truth came through Jesus Christ.

For all things are for your sakes, that the grace, being multiplied through the many, may cause the thanksgiving to abound unto the glory of God.

and in thy seed shall all the nations of the earth be blessed; because thou hast obeyed my voice.

Seeing it is God, that said, Light shall shine out of darkness, who shined in our hearts, to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ.

being only( with meats and drinks and divers washings) carnal ordinances, imposed until a time of reformation.But Christ having come a high priest of the good things to come, through the greater and more perfect tabernacle, not made with hands, that is to say, not of this creation,nor yet through the blood of goats and calves, but through his own blood, entered in once for all into the holy place, having obtained eternal redemption.For if the blood of goats and bulls, and the ashes of a heifer sprinkling them that have been defiled, sanctify unto the cleanness of the flesh:how much more shall the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered himself without blemish unto God, cleanse your conscience from dead works to serve the living God?And for this cause he is the mediator of a new covenant, that a death having taken place for the redemption of the transgressions that were under the first covenant, they that have been called may receive the promise of the eternal inheritance.

to whom God was pleased to make known what is the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles, which is Christ in you, the hope of glory:
