因為我知道，藉著你們的祈禱和耶穌基督之靈的幫助，事情將為我轉變以致我獲救。

這樣，彼得被拘留在監獄裡，教會卻為他熱切地向神禱告。

同時還請你為我預備住處，因為我希望藉著你們的禱告，能回到你們那裡去。

請為我們禱告；因為我們深信自己有無愧的良心，願意在一切事上行事正直。

同時也要為我們禱告：願神給我們開福音的門，使我們能傳講基督的奧祕——我也是為此被捆鎖的，

最後，弟兄們，請為我們禱告：願主的福音能迅速傳開，並且得著榮耀，就像在你們那裡一樣；

弟兄們，藉著我們的主耶穌基督、藉著聖靈的愛，我懇求你們與我一同竭力為我向神禱告：願神救我脫離猶太地區不肯信從的人，也使我為耶路撒冷的這服事可以蒙聖徒們的悅納，好讓我能照著神的旨意，快快樂樂地到你們那裡去，和你們同得安息。

弟兄們，請為我們禱告。

所以你們當彼此認罪，彼此代求，好使你們得痊癒。義人所做的祈禱是大有力量的。以利亞和我們同樣是人，但他用禱告來祈求不要降雨，果然地上三年零六個月沒有降雨。後來他又禱告，天就降下雨水，地也產出果實來。

你們要以各樣的禱告和祈求，藉著聖靈時刻祈禱；而且為此警醒，以極大的忍耐，為所有聖徒祈求，也為我祈求，好使我在開口的時候被賜予話語，能坦然無懼地讓人明白福音的奧祕——

使你們在一切事上都得以富足，以致十分慷慨，就藉著我們生出對神的感謝之心。因為這服事的工作，不僅補足了聖徒們的缺乏，並且能藉著對神的許多感謝而充實滿溢。

將軍的主人亞述王派他來辱罵永生的神，或許耶和華你的神聽見了他的話，就會斥責所聽見的那些話。因此，求你為幸存的餘剩之民獻上禱告。』」

並且他們因著神賜給你們這無限的恩典，就切切地想念你們，為你們祈禱。

耶路撒冷啊！我在你城牆上指派了守望的，他們整日整夜一直不靜默。記念耶和華的啊！你們不要靜息，也不要讓他靜息，直到他堅立耶路撒冷，使耶路撒冷在地上成為受人讚美的。
