Howbeit I believed not their words, until I came, and mine eyes had seen[ it]: and, behold, the one half of the greatness of thy wisdom was not told me:[ for] thou exceedest the fame that I heard.

我先不信那些话，及至我来亲眼见了，才知道你的大智慧；人所告诉我的，还不到一半；你的实迹越过我所听见的名声。

But I did not believe what they said until I came and saw with my own eyes. Indeed, not even half the greatness of your wisdom was told me; you have far exceeded the report I heard.

But I didn’t believe what people were saying. So I came to see for myself. And now I believe it! You are twice as wise as people say you are. The report I heard doesn’t even begin to tell the whole story about you.

What[ is] thy beloved more than[ another] beloved, O thou fairest among women? what[ is] thy beloved more than[ another] beloved, that thou dost so charge us?My beloved[ is] white and ruddy, the chiefest among ten thousand.His head[ is as] the most fine gold, his locks[ are] bushy,[ and] black as a raven.His eyes[ are] as[ the eyes] of doves by the rivers of waters, washed with milk,[ and] fitly set.His cheeks[ are] as a bed of spices,[ as] sweet flowers: his lips[ like] lilies, dropping sweet smelling myrrh.His hands[ are as] gold rings set with the beryl: his belly[ is as] bright ivory overlaid[ with] sapphires.His legs[ are as] pillars of marble, set upon sockets of fine gold: his countenance[ is] as Lebanon, excellent as the cedars.His mouth[ is] most sweet: yea, he[ is] altogether lovely. This[ is] my beloved, and this[ is] my friend, O daughters of Jerusalem.

[ Oh] how great[ is] thy goodness, which thou hast laid up for them that fear thee;[ which] thou hast wrought for them that trust in thee before the sons of men!

For he was wiser than all men; than Ethan the Ezrahite, and Heman, and Chalcol, and Darda, the sons of Mahol: and his fame was in all nations round about.

The other disciples therefore said unto him, We have seen the Lord. But he said unto them, Except I shall see in his hands the print of the nails, and put my finger into the print of the nails, and thrust my hand into his side, I will not believe.And after eight days again his disciples were within, and Thomas with them:[ then] came Jesus, the doors being shut, and stood in the midst, and said, Peace[ be] unto you.Then saith he to Thomas, Reach hither thy finger, and behold my hands; and reach hither thy hand, and thrust[ it] into my side: and be not faithless, but believing.And Thomas answered and said unto him, My Lord and my God.Jesus saith unto him, Thomas, because thou hast seen me, thou hast believed: blessed[ are] they that have not seen, and[ yet] have believed.

Howbeit I believed not the words, until I came, and mine eyes had seen[ it]: and, behold, the half was not told me: thy wisdom and prosperity exceedeth the fame which I heard.

But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him.

Beloved, now are we the sons of God, and it doth not yet appear what we shall be: but we know that, when he shall appear, we shall be like him; for we shall see him as he is.
