我初不信、及我涖臨、目擊斯事、乃知所聞猶不及所見之半也、爾之智慧全備、較我所聞、尤覺其多。

我初不信其言、及我來此、目睹斯事、乃知爾之大智慧、人所告我者猶未及其半、爾過於我所聞之風聲、

But I did not believe what they said until I came and saw with my own eyes. Indeed, not even half the greatness of your wisdom was told me; you have far exceeded the report I heard.

But I didn’t believe what people were saying. So I came to see for myself. And now I believe it! You are twice as wise as people say you are. The report I heard doesn’t even begin to tell the whole story about you.

but I did not believe the reports until I came and my own eyes had seen it. And behold, half the greatness of your wisdom was not told me; you surpass the report that I heard.

I didn’t believe what was said until I arrived here and saw it with my own eyes. In fact, I had not heard the half of your great wisdom! It is far beyond what I was told.

那將是何等的奇妙，何等的美好！五穀必滋養少男，新酒必滋養少女。

她對所羅門王說：「我在本國聽到的有關你的功業和智慧原來都是真的。

天下列王風聞所羅門的智慧，都紛紛遣使來求教。

絕色的佳人啊！你的良人與別的男子比較，究竟有什麼長處，以致你這樣懇求我們呢？他紅光滿面，超越萬人。他頭如純金，烏黑發亮的捲髮像波浪。他的眼睛清澈明亮，如同溪旁用奶洗淨的白鴿，又像鑲嵌合適的寶石。他的雙頰芬芳，猶如種滿香草的花圃。他的嘴唇好像百合花，滴下沒藥汁。他的雙臂如同鑲著水蒼玉的金杖，身體如同鑲嵌藍寶石的象牙。他的雙腿好像純金座上的白玉石柱，體格如黎巴嫩挺拔的香柏樹。他的嘴甘甜如蜜，整個人都令人愛慕。耶路撒冷的少女啊，這就是我的良人，我的朋友。

你的恩惠何其大——為敬畏你的人而預備，在世人面前賜給投靠你的人。

無人能比，勝過以斯拉人以探和瑪曷的兒子希幔、甲各、達大的智慧。他名揚四周列國。

其他門徒告訴他：「我們看見主了！」可是多馬說：「除非我親眼看見祂手上的釘痕，用手摸到祂手上的釘痕和祂的肋旁，否則我決不信。」過了八天，門徒又聚在一起，多馬也在，門都關著。突然耶穌來了，站在他們當中說：「願你們平安！」然後對多馬說：「把你的指頭放在我手上摸摸看，伸出手來摸摸我的肋旁。不要懷疑，要信！」多馬回答說：「我的主，我的上帝！」耶穌說：「你看見我才信，那些沒有看見就信的人有福了。」

若不是親眼目睹，我不會相信。事實上，我聽到的還不到一半！你的智慧和財富遠超過我聽到的傳聞。

正如聖經上說：「上帝為愛祂的人所預備的，是眼睛未曾見過，耳朵未曾聽聞，人心也未曾想到的。」

親愛的弟兄姊妹，我們現在是上帝的兒女，將來如何還未顯明。但我們知道，當主顯現的時候，我們必會像祂，因為我們必見到祂的本體。
