But I did not believe what they said until I came and saw with my own eyes. Indeed, not even half the greatness of your wisdom was told me; you have far exceeded the report I heard.

But I didn’t believe what people were saying. So I came to see for myself. And now I believe it! You are twice as wise as people say you are. The report I heard doesn’t even begin to tell the whole story about you.

but I did not believe the reports until I came and my own eyes had seen it. And behold, half the greatness of your wisdom was not told me; you surpass the report that I heard.

I didn’t believe what was said until I arrived here and saw it with my own eyes. In fact, I had not heard the half of your great wisdom! It is far beyond what I was told.

那将是何等的奇妙，何等的美好！五谷必滋养少男，新酒必滋养少女。

她对所罗门王说：“我在本国听到的有关你的功业和智慧原来都是真的。

天下列王风闻所罗门的智慧，都纷纷遣使来求教。

绝色的佳人啊！你的良人与别的男子比较，究竟有什么长处，以致你这样恳求我们呢？他红光满面，超越万人。他头如纯金，乌黑发亮的卷发像波浪。他的眼睛清澈明亮，如同溪旁用奶洗净的白鸽，又像镶嵌合适的宝石。他的双颊芬芳，犹如种满香草的花圃。他的嘴唇好像百合花，滴下没药汁。他的双臂如同镶着水苍玉的金杖，身体如同镶嵌蓝宝石的象牙。他的双腿好像纯金座上的白玉石柱，体格如黎巴嫩挺拔的香柏树。他的嘴甘甜如蜜，整个人都令人爱慕。耶路撒冷的少女啊，这就是我的良人，我的朋友。

你的恩惠何其大——为敬畏你的人而预备，在世人面前赐给投靠你的人。

无人能比，胜过以斯拉人以探和玛曷的儿子希幔、甲各、达大的智慧。他名扬四周列国。

其他门徒告诉他：“我们看见主了！”可是多马说：“除非我亲眼看见祂手上的钉痕，用手摸到祂手上的钉痕和祂的肋旁，否则我决不信。”过了八天，门徒又聚在一起，多马也在，门都关着。突然耶稣来了，站在他们当中说：“愿你们平安！”然后对多马说：“把你的指头放在我手上摸摸看，伸出手来摸摸我的肋旁。不要怀疑，要信！”多马回答说：“我的主，我的上帝！”耶稣说：“你看见我才信，那些没有看见就信的人有福了。”

若不是亲眼目睹，我不会相信。事实上，我听到的还不到一半！你的智慧和财富远超过我听到的传闻。

正如圣经上说：“上帝为爱祂的人所预备的，是眼睛未曾见过，耳朵未曾听闻，人心也未曾想到的。”

亲爱的弟兄姊妹，我们现在是上帝的儿女，将来如何还未显明。但我们知道，当主显现的时候，我们必会像祂，因为我们必见到祂的本体。
