因为耶和华赐予智慧；知识和聪慧都出自他的口。

如果你们中间有人缺乏智慧，他就应当向那慷慨赐予万人又不责骂人的神祈求；神就会赐予他。

至于从上面来的智慧，首先是纯洁的，然后是和平的、谦和的、温顺的，满有怜悯和美好的果子的，是不偏私、不虚假的；

到那日，耶西的根必立起，作万民的旗帜；列国必寻求他，他安息之所必大有荣耀。

我亲爱的弟兄们，你们不要被迷惑了！一切美好的赏赐和各样完美的恩赐，都是从上面、从众光之父降下来的；在他没有改变，也没有转动的影子。

在你的国中有一个人，他里面有圣洁之神的灵；你先王年间就发现这人里面有光明、有悟性、有智慧如同神的智慧；你先王尼布甲尼撒亲自任命他为术士、占卜者、迦勒底人和算命者的领袖。你先王这样做，

是他改变时势和时期；是他废王、立王；是他赐智慧给智慧人，赐知识给有悟性的人；是他显明深奥和隐秘的事；他知道黑暗中有什么，光明也与他同在。我祖先的神哪，我感谢、称赞你！因为你赐给我智慧和大能；我们向你祈求的，如今你已显明给我，又把王的事显明给了我们。”

有人藉着圣灵被赐予了智慧的话语，又有人藉着同一位圣灵被赐予了知识的话语，

但本于神，你们却是在基督耶稣里的。基督耶稣为我们成了从神而来的智慧、公义、圣洁和救赎，

至于这四个年轻人，神赐给他们在各种文学和智慧上的学识和明达；但以理甚至能领悟各样的异象和异梦。

因为我将赐给你们口才和智慧，是所有反对你们的人都不能抵挡、不能驳倒的。

耶和华的灵必停留在那一位身上，就是智慧和悟性的灵，谋略和大能的灵，知识和敬畏耶和华的灵。

愿我们主耶稣基督的神——荣耀的父，赐给你们智慧和启示的灵，使你们能真正地认识他。
