So Solomon observed the festival at that time for seven days, and all Israel with him— a vast assembly, people from Lebo Hamath to the Wadi of Egypt.

At that time Solomon celebrated the Feast of Booths for seven days. The whole community of Israel was with him. It was a huge crowd. People came from as far away as Lebo Hamath and the Wadi of Egypt.

At that time Solomon held the feast for seven days, and all Israel with him, a very great assembly, from Lebo-hamath to the Brook of Egypt.

For the next seven days Solomon and all Israel celebrated the Festival of Shelters. A large congregation had gathered from as far away as Lebo hamath in the north and the Brook of Egypt in the south.

So Solomon and all Israel with him— a very great assembly, from the entrance to Hamath to the Brook of Egypt— observed the festival at that time for seven days.

So Solomon held the feast at that time for seven days, and all Israel with him, a very great assembly that came from the entrance of Hamath to the brook of Egypt.

On the same day the Lord made a covenant with Abram, saying:“ To your descendants I have given this land, from the river of Egypt to the great river, the River Euphrates—

the border shall turn from Azmon to the Brook of Egypt, and it shall end at the Sea.‘ As for the western border, you shall have the Great Sea for a border; this shall be your western border.‘ And this shall be your northern border: From the Great Sea you shall mark out your border line to Mount Hor;from Mount Hor you shall mark out your border to the entrance of Hamath; then the direction of the border shall be toward Zedad;

Now on the second day the heads of the fathers’ houses of all the people, with the priests and Levites, were gathered to Ezra the scribe, in order to understand the words of the Law.And they found written in the Law, which the Lord had commanded by Moses, that the children of Israel should dwell in booths during the feast of the seventh month,and that they should announce and proclaim in all their cities and in Jerusalem, saying,“ Go out to the mountain, and bring olive branches, branches of oil trees, myrtle branches, palm branches, and branches of leafy trees, to make booths, as it is written.”Then the people went out and brought them and made themselves booths, each one on the roof of his house, or in their courtyards or the courts of the house of God, and in the open square of the Water Gate and in the open square of the Gate of Ephraim.So the whole assembly of those who had returned from the captivity made booths and sat under the booths; for since the days of Joshua the son of Nun until that day the children of Israel had not done so. And there was very great gladness.Also day by day, from the first day until the last day, he read from the Book of the Law of God. And they kept the feast seven days; and on the eighth day there was a sacred assembly, according to the prescribed manner.

So Solomon reigned over all kingdoms from the River to the land of the Philistines, as far as the border of Egypt. They brought tribute and served Solomon all the days of his life.Now Solomon’s provision for one day was thirty kors of fine flour, sixty kors of meal,ten fatted oxen, twenty oxen from the pastures, and one hundred sheep, besides deer, gazelles, roebucks, and fatted fowl.For he had dominion over all the region on this side of the River from Tiphsah even to Gaza, namely over all the kings on this side of the River; and he had peace on every side all around him.And Judah and Israel dwelt safely, each man under his vine and his fig tree, from Dan as far as Beersheba, all the days of Solomon.

‘ On the fifteenth day of the seventh month you shall have a holy convocation. You shall do no customary work, and you shall keep a feast to the Lord seven days.You shall present a burnt offering, an offering made by fire as a sweet aroma to the Lord: thirteen young bulls, two rams, and fourteen lambs in their first year. They shall be without blemish.Their grain offering shall be of fine flour mixed with oil: three-tenths of an ephah for each of the thirteen bulls, two-tenths for each of the two rams,and one-tenth for each of the fourteen lambs;also one kid of the goats as a sin offering, besides the regular burnt offering, its grain offering, and its drink offering.‘ On the second day present twelve young bulls, two rams, fourteen lambs in their first year without blemish,and their grain offering and their drink offerings for the bulls, for the rams, and for the lambs, by their number, according to the ordinance;also one kid of the goats as a sin offering, besides the regular burnt offering with its grain offering, and their drink offerings.‘ On the third day present eleven bulls, two rams, fourteen lambs in their first year without blemish,and their grain offering and their drink offerings for the bulls, for the rams, and for the lambs, by their number, according to the ordinance;also one goat as a sin offering, besides the regular burnt offering, its grain offering, and its drink offering.‘ On the fourth day present ten bulls, two rams, and fourteen lambs in their first year, without blemish,and their grain offering and their drink offerings for the bulls, for the rams, and for the lambs, by their number, according to the ordinance;also one kid of the goats as a sin offering, besides the regular burnt offering, its grain offering, and its drink offering.‘ On the fifth day present nine bulls, two rams, and fourteen lambs in their first year without blemish,and their grain offering and their drink offerings for the bulls, for the rams, and for the lambs, by their number, according to the ordinance;also one goat as a sin offering, besides the regular burnt offering, its grain offering, and its drink offering.‘ On the sixth day present eight bulls, two rams, and fourteen lambs in their first year without blemish,and their grain offering and their drink offerings for the bulls, for the rams, and for the lambs, by their number, according to the ordinance;also one goat as a sin offering, besides the regular burnt offering, its grain offering, and its drink offering.‘ On the seventh day present seven bulls, two rams, and fourteen lambs in their first year without blemish,and their grain offering and their drink offerings for the bulls, for the rams, and for the lambs, by their number, according to the ordinance;also one goat as a sin offering, besides the regular burnt offering, its grain offering, and its drink offering.‘ On the eighth day you shall have a sacred assembly. “ Speak to the children of Israel, saying:‘ The fifteenth day of this seventh month shall be the Feast of Tabernacles for seven days to the Lord.On the first day there shall be a holy convocation. On the eighth day you shall have a holy convocation, and you shall offer an offering made by fire to the Lord. It is a sacred assembly, and you shall do no customary work on it.‘ These are the feasts of the Lord which you shall proclaim to be holy convocations, to offer an offering made by fire to the Lord, a burnt offering and a grain offering, a sacrifice and drink offerings, everything on its day—besides the Sabbaths of the Lord, besides your gifts, besides all your vows, and besides all your freewill offerings which you give to the Lord.‘ Also on the fifteenth day of the seventh month, when you have gathered in the fruit of the land, you shall keep the feast of the Lord for seven days; on the first day there shall be a sabbath-rest, and on the eighth day a sabbath-rest.And you shall take for yourselves on the first day the fruit of beautiful trees, branches of palm trees, the boughs of leafy trees, and willows of the brook; and you shall rejoice before the Lord your God for seven days.You shall keep it as a feast to the Lord for seven days in the year. It shall be a statute forever in your generations. You shall celebrate it in the seventh month.You shall dwell in booths for seven days. All who are native Israelites shall dwell in booths,that your generations may know that I made the children of Israel dwell in booths when I brought them out of the land of Egypt: I am the Lord your God.’”

Now the Jews’ Feast of Tabernacles was at hand.

“ But, behold, I will raise up a nation against you, O house of Israel,” Says the Lord God of hosts;“ And they will afflict you from the entrance of Hamath To the Valley of the Arabah.”

However, we know where this Man is from; but when the Christ comes, no one knows where He is from.”Then Jesus cried out, as He taught in the temple, saying,“ You both know Me, and you know where I am from; and I have not come of Myself, but He who sent Me is true, whom you do not know.But I know Him, for I am from Him, and He sent Me.”Therefore they sought to take Him; but no one laid a hand on Him, because His hour had not yet come.And many of the people believed in Him, and said,“ When the Christ comes, will He do more signs than these which this Man has done?”The Pharisees heard the crowd murmuring these things concerning Him, and the Pharisees and the chief priests sent officers to take Him.Then Jesus said to them,“ I shall be with you a little while longer, and then I go to Him who sent Me.You will seek Me and not find Me, and where I am you cannot come.”Then the Jews said among themselves,“ Where does He intend to go that we shall not find Him? Does He intend to go to the Dispersion among the Greeks and teach the Greeks?What is this thing that He said,‘ You will seek Me and not find Me, and where I am you cannot come’?”On the last day, that great day of the feast, Jesus stood and cried out, saying,“ If anyone thirsts, let him come to Me and drink.He who believes in Me, as the Scripture has said, out of his heart will flow rivers of living water.”But this He spoke concerning the Spirit, whom those believing in Him would receive; for the Holy Spirit was not yet given, because Jesus was not yet glorified.

Now many people, a very great assembly, gathered at Jerusalem to keep the Feast of Unleavened Bread in the second month.

“ You shall observe the Feast of Tabernacles seven days, when you have gathered from your threshing floor and from your winepress.And you shall rejoice in your feast, you and your son and your daughter, your male servant and your female servant and the Levite, the stranger and the fatherless and the widow, who are within your gates.Seven days you shall keep a sacred feast to the Lord your God in the place which the Lord chooses, because the Lord your God will bless you in all your produce and in all the work of your hands, so that you surely rejoice.

And it shall come to pass that everyone who is left of all the nations which came against Jerusalem shall go up from year to year to worship the King, the Lord of hosts, and to keep the Feast of Tabernacles.And it shall be that whichever of the families of the earth do not come up to Jerusalem to worship the King, the Lord of hosts, on them there will be no rain.If the family of Egypt will not come up and enter in, they shall have no rain; they shall receive the plague with which the Lord strikes the nations who do not come up to keep the Feast of Tabernacles.This shall be the punishment of Egypt and the punishment of all the nations that do not come up to keep the Feast of Tabernacles.

from Sihor, which is east of Egypt, as far as the border of Ekron northward( which is counted as Canaanite); the five lords of the Philistines— the Gazites, the Ashdodites, the Ashkelonites, the Gittites, and the Ekronites; also the Avites;from the south, all the land of the Canaanites, and Mearah that belongs to the Sidonians as far as Aphek, to the border of the Amorites;the land of the Gebalites, and all Lebanon, toward the sunrise, from Baal Gad below Mount Hermon as far as the entrance to Hamath;
