The priests took their positions, as did the Levites with the Lord’s musical instruments, which King David had made for praising the Lord and which were used when he gave thanks, saying,“ His love endures forever.” Opposite the Levites, the priests blew their trumpets, and all the Israelites were standing.

The priests stood, according to their positions; the Levites also with instruments of music of Yahweh, which David the king had made to give thanks to Yahweh, when David praised by their ministry, saying“ For his loving kindness endures forever.” The priests sounded trumpets before them; and all Israel stood.

他们跳舞歌唱说：“我们蒙福的泉源在锡安。”

大卫和以色列众人就在上帝面前用琴、瑟、鼓、钹和号奏乐，尽情歌舞。

约柜安放在耶和华的殿中之后，大卫便派人在那里负责歌乐。他们按班次在会幕供职，一直到所罗门在耶路撒冷建造了耶和华的殿。

下面是亚伦子孙的班次。亚伦的儿子是拿答、亚比户、以利亚撒、以他玛。拿答和亚比户比父亲先死，而且没有留下儿子，因此以利亚撒和以他玛做了祭司。在以利亚撒的子孙撒督和以他玛的子孙亚希米勒的协助下，大卫将亚伦的子孙分成班次，让他们各司其职。

要称谢耶和华，因为祂是美善的，祂的慈爱永远长存！

耶和华对摩西说：“你要用银子打造两支号，用来招聚会众和发出拔营的号令。吹响两支号时，全体会众要聚集到你那里，即会幕门口。如果只吹响一支号，担任首领的以色列各族长要聚集到你那里。如果吹响拔营的号令，在东面扎营的就要启行；第二次吹响拔营号令时，在南面扎营的就要启行。拔营号令是启行的信号。但吹号招聚会众时，不要用拔营号令。做祭司的亚伦子孙要负责吹号，这是世代不变的律例。当你们在自己的土地上跟敌人作战时，要吹号，你们的上帝耶和华必眷顾你们，救你们脱离敌人。在节期和朔日这些欢乐的日子献燔祭和平安祭的时候，你们要吹号，好在你们的上帝面前蒙眷顾。我是你们的上帝耶和华。”

耶和华必成就祂为我所定的计划；耶和华啊，你的慈爱永远长存。求你不要撇弃你亲手所造的。

让七个祭司拿着七个羊角号走在约柜前面。到了第七天，你们要绕城七圈，祭司要吹响号角。

祭司示巴尼、约沙法、拿坦业、亚玛赛、撒迦利雅、比拿亚和以利以谢负责在上帝的约柜前吹号，俄别·以东和耶希亚也负责看守约柜。

你们伴着琴声唱慵懒的歌，像大卫一样为自己制造乐器。
