那时正是冬天，在耶路撒冷有献殿节。

看哪，我要为耶和华—我神的名建造殿宇，分别为圣献给他，在他面前烧芬芳的香，经常献供饼，每早晚、安息日、初一，以及耶和华—我们神所定的节期献燔祭。这是以色列人永远的定例。

会众所奉的燔祭数目如下：七十头公牛、一百只公羊、二百只羔羊，这些全都是要作燔祭献给耶和华的；又有分别为圣之物，就是六百头公牛、三千只绵羊。

王的本分是在节期、初一、安息日，就是以色列家一切的盛会，奉上燔祭、素祭、浇酒祭。他要献上赎罪祭、素祭、燔祭和平安祭，为以色列家赎罪。”

所罗门王和聚集到他那里的以色列全会众都在约柜前献牛羊为祭，多得不可胜数，无法计算。

次日，他们向耶和华献平安祭和燔祭，献一千头公牛、一千只公绵羊、一千只羔羊，以及同献的浇酒祭，并为以色列众人献许多的祭。

以色列人、祭司和利未人，以及其余被掳归回的人都欢欢喜喜地为神的这殿行奉献礼。他们为这神殿的奉献礼献了一百头公牛、二百只公绵羊、四百只小绵羊，又照以色列支派的数目献十二只公山羊，作以色列众人的赎罪祭。

王和全以色列一同在耶和华面前献祭。所罗门向耶和华献平安祭，二万二千头牛，十二万只羊。这样，王和全以色列为耶和华的殿行了奉献之礼。

所罗门上到耶和华面前会幕的铜坛那里，在坛上献一千祭牲为燔祭。

耶和华岂喜悦千千的公羊，或是万万的油河吗？我岂可为自己的过犯献我的长子，为自己的罪恶献我所亲生的吗？”

用膏抹祭坛的那一天，众领袖前来为献坛奉献；众领袖都在祭坛前献供物。

那日他们从所取的掳物中，将七百头牛和七千只羊献给耶和华。

约西亚从群畜中赐给所有在场的百姓，三万只小绵羊和小山羊，三千头牛，作逾越节的祭物；这些都是出自王的产业。约西亚的众领袖也乐意把祭牲给百姓、祭司和利未人；管理神殿的希勒家、撒迦利亚、耶歇，把二千六百只羔羊和三百头牛给祭司作逾越节的祭物。利未人的族长歌楠雅和他两个兄弟示玛雅、拿坦业，与哈沙比雅、耶利、约撒拔，把五千只羔羊和五百头牛给利未人作逾越节的祭物。

犹大王希西家赐给会众一千头公牛、七千只羊；众领袖也赐给会众一千头公牛、一万只羊，并有许多祭司将自己分别为圣。
