在耶路撒冷有修殿节，是冬天的时候。

我要为耶和华我神的名建造殿宇，分别为圣献给他，在他面前焚烧美香，常摆陈设饼，每早晚、安息日、月朔，并耶和华我们神所定的节期献燔祭。这是以色列人永远的定例。

会众所奉的燔祭如下：公牛七十只，公羊一百只，羊羔二百只，这都是作燔祭献给耶和华的；又有分别为圣之物，公牛六百只，绵羊三千只。

王的本分是在节期、月朔、安息日，就是以色列家一切的节期，奉上燔祭、素祭、奠祭。他要预备赎罪祭、素祭、燔祭，和平安祭，为以色列家赎罪。”

所罗门王和聚集到他那里的以色列全会众都在约柜前献牛羊为祭，多得不可胜数。

次日，他们向耶和华献平安祭和燔祭，就是献公牛一千只，公绵羊一千只，羊羔一千只，并同献的奠祭；又为以色列众人献许多的祭。那日，他们在耶和华面前吃喝，大大欢乐。

以色列的祭司和利未人，并其余被掳归回的人都欢欢喜喜地行奉献神殿的礼。行奉献神殿的礼就献公牛一百只，公绵羊二百只，绵羊羔四百只，又照以色列支派的数目献公山羊十二只，为以色列众人作赎罪祭；

王和以色列众民一同在耶和华面前献祭。所罗门向耶和华献平安祭，用牛二万二千，羊十二万。这样，王和以色列众民为耶和华的殿行奉献之礼。

所罗门上到耶和华面前会幕的铜坛那里，献一千牺牲为燔祭。

耶和华岂喜悦千千的公羊，或是万万的油河吗？我岂可为自己的罪过献我的长子吗？为心中的罪恶献我身所生的吗？

用膏抹坛的日子，首领都来行奉献坛的礼，众首领就在坛前献供物。

当日他们从所取的掳物中，将牛七百只、羊七千只献给耶和华。

约西亚从群畜中赐给在那里所有的人民，绵羊羔和山羊羔三万只，牛三千只，作逾越节的祭物；这都是出自王的产业中。约西亚的众首领也乐意将牺牲给百姓和祭司利未人；又有管理神殿的希勒家、撒迦利亚、耶歇将羊羔二千六百只，牛三百只，给祭司作逾越节的祭物。利未人的族长歌楠雅和他两个兄弟示玛雅、拿坦业，与哈沙比雅、耶利、约撒拔将羊羔五千只，牛五百只，给利未人作逾越节的祭物。

犹大王希西家赐给会众公牛一千只，羊七千只为祭物；众首领也赐给会众公牛一千只，羊一万只，并有许多的祭司洁净自己。
