Then I will establish your dynasty, just as I promised your father David,‘ You will not fail to have a successor ruling over Israel.’

我就必坚固你的国位，正如我与你父大卫所立的约，说：‘你的子孙必不断人作以色列的王。’

我就必巩固你的国位，好像我和你父亲大卫所立的约说：‘你的子孙必不会断人作君王统治以色列。’

我就必堅固你的國位，正如我與你父大衛所立的約，說：『你的子孫必不斷人作以色列的王。』

我就必堅固你國度的王位，正如我與你父大衛所立的約，說：『你的子孫必不斷有人治理以色列。』

我就必堅固你國度的王位，正如我與你父大衛所立的約，說：『你的子孫必不斷有人治理以色列。』

我必使你的王位穩固，正如我曾與你父親大衛立約，說，『你的子孫必永遠統治以色列。』

我就必鞏固你的國位，好像我和你父親大衛所立的約說：‘你的子孫必不會斷人作君王統治以色列。’

那麼我就立定你的國位，正如我和你父親大衛立了約說：「你子孫總必不斷有人來統治以色列的」。

我必固爾國位、依我與爾父大衛所立之約曰、爾不乏人、治以色列、

我必鞏固爾國、昔我許爾父大闢、不絕其嗣、以繼以色列國位、今必踐其前言。

則我必鞏固爾國位、昔我與爾父大衛立約曰、爾嗣必繼爾治以色列民、永遠不絕、我必踐其言、

I will establish your royal throne, as I covenanted with David your father when I said,‘ You shall never fail to have a successor to rule over Israel.’

Then I will set up your royal throne. I made a covenant with your father David to do that. I said to him,‘ You will always have a son from your family line to rule over Israel.’

then I will establish your royal throne, as I covenanted with David your father, saying,‘ You shall not lack a man to rule Israel.’

then I will establish the throne of your dynasty. For I made this covenant with your father, David, when I said,‘ One of your descendants will always rule over Israel.’

I will establish your royal throne, as I promised your father David: You will never fail to have a man ruling in Israel.

then I will establish your royal throne as I covenanted with your father David, saying,‘ You shall not lack a man to be ruler in Israel.’

then I will establish the throne of your kingdom, as I covenanted with David your father, saying,‘ You shall not fail to have a man as ruler in Israel.’

then I will establish the throne of thy kingdom, according as I covenanted with David thy father, saying, There shall not fail thee a man to be ruler in Israel.

I will establish your royal throne, as I promised your father David: You will never fail to have a man ruling in Israel.

Then will I stablish the throne of thy kingdom, according as I have covenanted with David thy father, saying, There shall not fail thee a man[ to be] ruler in Israel.

then I will establish the throne of your kingdom, according as I covenanted with David your father, saying,‘ There shall not fail you a man to be ruler in Israel.’

Now, O LORD God of Israel, keep the promise you made to your servant, my father David, when you said,‘ You will never fail to have a successor ruling before me on the throne of Israel, provided that your descendants watch their step and obey my law as you have done.’

He will build a house for my name, and I will make his dynasty permanent.I will become his father and he will become my son. When he sins, I will correct him with the rod of men and with wounds inflicted by human beings.But my loyal love will not be removed from him as I removed it from Saul, whom I removed from before you.Your house and your kingdom will stand before me permanently; your dynasty will be permanent.’”

Then I will allow your dynasty to rule over Israel permanently, just as I promised your father David,‘ You will not fail to have a successor on the throne of Israel.’

“ I, LORD, make the following promise:‘ I have made a covenant with the day and with the night that they will always come at their proper times. Only if you people could break that covenantcould my covenant with my servant David and my covenant with the Levites ever be broken. So David will by all means always have a descendant to occupy his throne as king and the Levites will by all means always have priests who will minister before me.

The LORD made a reliable promise to David; he will not go back on his word. He said,“ I will place one of your descendants on your throne.If your sons keep my covenant and the rules I teach them, their sons will also sit on your throne forever.”

I will always extend my loyal love to him, and my covenant with him is secure.I will give him an eternal dynasty, and make his throne as enduring as the skies above.If his sons reject my law and disobey my regulations,if they break my rules and do not keep my commandments,I will punish their rebellion by beating them with a club, their sin by inflicting them with bruises.But I will not remove my loyal love from him, nor be unfaithful to my promise.I will not break my covenant or go back on what I promised.Once and for all I have vowed by my own holiness, I will never deceive David.His dynasty will last forever. His throne will endure before me, like the sun,it will remain stable, like the moon, his throne will endure like the skies.”( Selah)But you have spurned and rejected him; you are angry with your chosen king.You have repudiated your covenant with your servant; you have thrown his crown to the ground.You have broken down all his walls; you have made his strongholds a heap of ruins.

But I, the LORD, make the following promise: I have made a covenant governing the coming of day and night. I have established the fixed laws governing heaven and earth.Just as surely as I have done this, so surely will I never reject the descendants of Jacob. Nor will I ever refuse to choose one of my servant David’s descendants to rule over the descendants of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. Indeed, I will restore them and show mercy to them.”
