又在主殿置所作之亞舍拉偶像、昔主諭大衛及其子所羅門曰、我於以色列諸支派中、所選耶路撒冷及此殿、我必使我名在其中、至於永遠、如以色列人謹守遵行凡我所命之者、及我僕摩西所命之一切律法、則我不復使之遷移、遷移原文作移足離我所賜其列祖之地、

如在擄之之敵國、盡心盡意歸主、向其故土、即主所賜其列祖之地、與主所選之邑、及我為主名所建之殿、禱告於主、

如民獲罪於主、致天閉塞不雨、而在此處祈禱、認主之名、主罰之之後、悛悔罪惡、

爾與子女奴婢、與居爾邑之利未人、及居於爾中之孤寡、俱可於主爾天主所選為其名所在之處、歡樂於主爾之天主前、

如主之民奉主所遣、無論何往、與敵戰時、向主所選之邑、及我為主名所建之殿、禱告於主、

在主之殿宇建數祭壇、昔主曰、我必使我名永在耶路撒冷、所言即指此殿宇、瑪拿西在主殿之二院、為天之萬象建壇、
