When I shut up heaven and there is no rain, or command the locusts to devour the land, or send pestilence among My people,

我若使天闭塞不下雨，或使蝗虫吃这地的出产，或使瘟疫流行在我民中，

我若使天闭塞不下雨，或使蝗虫吃这地的出产，或降瘟疫在我子民中，

我若使天闭塞不下雨，或使蝗虫吃这地的出产，或降瘟疫在我子民中，

若我使天不下雨，使蝗虫吞吃地上的出产，或叫瘟疫在我民中流行，

如果我使天闭塞不下雨，或吩咐蝗虫吞吃这地的土产，或差遣瘟疫到我的子民中间来；

我若使天閉塞不下雨，或使蝗蟲吃這地的出產，或使瘟疫流行在我民中，

我若使天閉塞不下雨，或使蝗蟲吃這地的出產，或降瘟疫在我子民中，

我若使天閉塞不下雨，或使蝗蟲吃這地的出產，或降瘟疫在我子民中，

若我使天不下雨，使蝗蟲吞吃地上的出產，或叫瘟疫在我民中流行，

如果我使天閉塞不下雨，或吩咐蝗蟲吞吃這地的土產，或差遣瘟疫到我的子民中間來；

我若將天抑制住、使它沒有雨水，我若吩咐蚱蜢來喫這地的物產，或是打發瘟疫到我人民中間；

若我使天閉塞不雨、或使蝻蝗食其土產、或使疫癘行於我民、

如我使天閉塞、雨澤不降、或使蝗蟲食其土產、或使瘟疫、流於民間、

如我使天閉塞而不降雨、或使蝗蝻食土產、或使疫癘流行我民中、

“ When I shut up the heavens so that there is no rain, or command locusts to devour the land or send a plague among my people,

“ Suppose I close up the sky and there isn’t any rain. Suppose I command locusts to eat up the crops. And I send a plague among my people.

When I shut up the heavens so that there is no rain, or command the locust to devour the land, or send pestilence among my people,

At times I might shut up the heavens so that no rain falls, or command grasshoppers to devour your crops, or send plagues among you.

If I shut the sky so there is no rain, or if I command the grasshopper to consume the land, or if I send pestilence on my people,

If I shut up the heavens so that there is no rain, or if I command the locust to devour the land, or if I send a plague among My people,

If I shut up the heavens so that there is no rain, or if I command the locust to devour the land, or if I send pestilence among my people;

If I close the sky so there is no rain, or if I command the grasshopper to consume the land, or if I send pestilence on My people,

When I close up the sky so that it doesn’t rain, or command locusts to devour the land’s vegetation, or send a plague among my people,

“ If I shut up the sky so that there is no rain, or if I command the locust to devour the land, or if I send pestilence among my people;

“ When the heavens are shut up and there is no rain because they have sinned against You, when they pray toward this place and confess Your name, and turn from their sin because You afflict them,then hear in heaven, and forgive the sin of Your servants, Your people Israel, that You may teach them the good way in which they should walk; and send rain on Your land which You have given to Your people as an inheritance.“ When there is famine in the land, pestilence or blight or mildew, locusts or grasshoppers; when their enemies besiege them in the land of their cities; whatever plague or whatever sickness there is;

lest the LORD’s anger be aroused against you, and He shut up the heavens so that there be no rain, and the land yield no produce, and you perish quickly from the good land which the Lord is giving you.

These have power to shut heaven, so that no rain falls in the days of their prophecy; and they have power over waters to turn them to blood, and to strike the earth with all plagues, as often as they desire.

Or else, if you refuse to let My people go, behold, tomorrow I will bring locusts into your territory.And they shall cover the face of the earth, so that no one will be able to see the earth; and they shall eat the residue of what is left, which remains to you from the hail, and they shall eat every tree which grows up for you out of the field.They shall fill your houses, the houses of all your servants, and the houses of all the Egyptians— which neither your fathers nor your fathers’ fathers have seen, since the day that they were on the earth to this day.’” And he turned and went out from Pharaoh.

“ And to the angel of the church in Philadelphia write,‘ These things says He who is holy, He who is true,“ He who has the key of David, He who opens and no one shuts, and shuts and no one opens”:

So Gad came to David and told him; and he said to him,“ Shall seven years of famine come to you in your land? Or shall you flee three months before your enemies, while they pursue you? Or shall there be three days’ plague in your land? Now consider and see what answer I should take back to Him who sent me.”And David said to Gad,“ I am in great distress. Please let us fall into the hand of the Lord, for His mercies are great; but do not let me fall into the hand of man.”So the Lord sent a plague upon Israel from the morning till the appointed time. From Dan to Beersheba seventy thousand men of the people died.

“ So I will restore to you the years that the swarming locust has eaten, The crawling locust, The consuming locust, And the chewing locust, My great army which I sent among you.

A fruitful land into barrenness, For the wickedness of those who dwell in it.

He spoke, and locusts came, Young locusts without number,

I will strike them with the pestilence and disinherit them, and I will make of you a nation greater and mightier than they.”

So Moses said to Aaron,“ Take a censer and put fire in it from the altar, put incense on it, and take it quickly to the congregation and make atonement for them; for wrath has gone out from the Lord. The plague has begun.”Then Aaron took it as Moses commanded, and ran into the midst of the assembly; and already the plague had begun among the people. So he put in the incense and made atonement for the people.

“ If He passes by, imprisons, and gathers to judgment, Then who can hinder Him?

What the chewing locust left, the swarming locust has eaten; What the swarming locust left, the crawling locust has eaten; And what the crawling locust left, the consuming locust has eaten.Awake, you drunkards, and weep; And wail, all you drinkers of wine, Because of the new wine, For it has been cut off from your mouth.For a nation has come up against My land, Strong, and without number; His teeth are the teeth of a lion, And he has the fangs of a fierce lion.He has laid waste My vine, And ruined My fig tree; He has stripped it bare and thrown it away; Its branches are made white.

If He breaks a thing down, it cannot be rebuilt; If He imprisons a man, there can be no release.

“ Or if I send a pestilence into that land and pour out My fury on it in blood, and cut off from it man and beast,even though Noah, Daniel, and Job were in it, as I live,” says the Lord GOD,“ they would deliver neither son nor daughter; they would deliver only themselves by their righteousness.”For thus says the Lord GOD:“ How much more it shall be when I send My four severe judgments on Jerusalem— the sword and famine and wild beasts and pestilence— to cut off man and beast from it?

But I tell you truly, many widows were in Israel in the days of Elijah, when the heaven was shut up three years and six months, and there was a great famine throughout all the land;
