如我使天閉塞、雨澤不降、或使蝗蟲食其土產、或使瘟疫、流於民間、

如我使天閉塞而不降雨、或使蝗蝻食土產、或使疫癘流行我民中、

“ When I shut up the heavens so that there is no rain, or command locusts to devour the land or send a plague among my people,

“ Suppose I close up the sky and there isn’t any rain. Suppose I command locusts to eat up the crops. And I send a plague among my people.

「你的民因得罪你，你懲罰他們，使天閉塞不下雨，他們若向此處禱告，承認你的名，離開他們的罪，求你在天上垂聽，赦免你僕人和你民以色列的罪，將當行的善道指教他們，且降雨在你的地，就是你賜給你民為業之地。「國中若有饑荒、瘟疫、旱風、霉爛、蝗蟲、螞蚱，或有仇敵犯境，圍困城邑，無論遭遇甚麼災禍疾病，

耶和華的怒氣向你們發作，就使天閉塞不下雨，地也不出產，使你們在耶和華所賜給你們的美地上速速滅亡。

這二人有權柄，在他們傳道的日子叫天閉塞不下雨；又有權柄叫水變為血，並且能隨時隨意用各樣的災殃攻擊世界。

你若不肯容我的百姓去，明天我要使蝗蟲進入你的境內，遮滿地面，甚至看不見地，並且吃那冰雹所剩的和田間所長的一切樹木。你的宮殿和你眾臣僕的房屋，並一切埃及人的房屋，都要被蝗蟲佔滿了；自從你祖宗和你祖宗的祖宗在世以來，直到今日，沒有見過這樣的災。』」摩西就轉身離開法老出去。

「你要寫信給非拉鐵非教會的使者，說：『那聖潔、真實、拿着大衛的鑰匙、開了就沒有人能關、關了就沒有人能開的，說：

於是迦得來見大衛，對他說：「你願意國中有七年的饑荒呢？是在你敵人面前逃跑，被追趕三個月呢？是在你國中有三日的瘟疫呢？現在你要揣摩思想，我好回覆那差我來的。」大衛對迦得說：「我甚為難！我願落在耶和華的手裏，因為他有豐盛的憐憫。我不願落在人的手裏。」於是，耶和華降瘟疫與以色列人，自早晨到所定的時候；從但直到別是巴，民間死了七萬人。

我打發到你們中間的大軍隊，就是蝗蟲、蝻子、螞蚱、剪蟲，那些年所吃的，我要補還你們。

使肥地變為鹼地；這都因其間居民的罪惡。

他說一聲，就有蝗蟲螞蚱上來，不計其數，

我要用瘟疫擊殺他們，使他們不得承受那地，叫你的後裔成為大國，比他們強勝。」

摩西對亞倫說：「拿你的香爐，把壇上的火盛在其中，又加上香，快快帶到會眾那裏，為他們贖罪；因為有忿怒從耶和華那裏出來，瘟疫已經發作了。」亞倫照着摩西所說的拿來，跑到會中，不料，瘟疫在百姓中已經發作了。他就加上香，為百姓贖罪。

他若經過，將人拘禁，招人受審，誰能阻擋他呢？

剪蟲剩下的，蝗蟲來吃；蝗蟲剩下的，蝻子來吃；蝻子剩下的，螞蚱來吃。酒醉的人哪，要清醒哭泣；好酒的人哪，都要為甜酒哀號，因為從你們的口中斷絕了。有一隊蝗蟲又強盛又無數，侵犯我的地；牠的牙齒如獅子的牙齒，大牙如母獅的大牙。牠毀壞我的葡萄樹，剝了我無花果樹的皮，剝盡而丟棄，使枝條露白。

他拆毀的，就不能再建造；他捆住人，便不得開釋。

或者我叫瘟疫流行那地，使我滅命的忿怒傾在其上，好將人與牲畜從其中剪除；雖有挪亞、但以理、約伯在其中，主耶和華說：我指着我的永生起誓，他們連兒帶女都不能救，只能因他們的義救自己的性命。」主耶和華如此說：「我將這四樣大災－就是刀劍、饑荒、惡獸、瘟疫降在耶路撒冷，將人與牲畜從其中剪除，豈不更重嗎？

我對你們說實話，當以利亞的時候，天閉塞了三年零六個月，遍地有大饑荒，那時，以色列中有許多寡婦，
