所羅門建耶和華室、及王宮室告成、於耶和華室、及己宮室、凡其心所欲作者、盡皆順遂、而竣厥工、

於是耶和華殿、與王宮室、凡所羅門所欲建者、至是告成。

如是所羅門建成主殿及王宮、凡所羅門意中所欲作於主殿及己宮者、皆亨通而工無不竣、

When Solomon had finished the temple of the Lord and the royal palace, and had succeeded in carrying out all he had in mind to do in the temple of the Lord and in his own palace,

Solomon finished the Lord’ s temple and the royal palace. He had done everything he had planned to do in the Lord’ s temple and his own palace.

Thus Solomon finished the house of the Lord and the king’s house. All that Solomon had planned to do in the house of the Lord and in his own house he successfully accomplished.

So Solomon finished the Temple of the Lord, as well as the royal palace. He completed everything he had planned to do in the construction of the Temple and the palace.

So Solomon finished the LORD’s temple and the royal palace. Everything that had entered Solomon’s heart to do for the LORD’s temple and for his own palace succeeded.

So Solomon finished the house of the Lord and the king’s palace, and successfully completed everything that he had planned on doing in the house of the Lord and in his palace.

Thus Solomon finished the house of the Lord and the king’s house; and Solomon successfully accomplished all that came into his heart to make in the house of the Lord and in his own house.

Thus Solomon finished the house of Jehovah, and the king’s house: and all that came into Solomon’s heart to make in the house of Jehovah, and in his own house, he prosperously effected.

So Solomon finished the Lord’s temple and the royal palace. Everything that had entered Solomon’s heart to do for the Lord’s temple and for his own palace succeeded.

Thus Solomon finished the house of the LORD, and the king’s house: and all that came into Solomon’s heart to make in the house of the LORD, and in his own house, he prosperously effected.

Thus Solomon finished Yahweh’s house and the king’s house; and he successfully completed all that came into Solomon’s heart to make in Yahweh’s house and in his own house.

所羅門建造耶和華的殿和王宮，以及一切所想要建造的都完畢了，耶和華第二次向所羅門顯現，如先前在基遍向他顯現一樣。耶和華對他說：「我已聽了你在我面前的禱告和祈求，將你所建的這殿分別為聖，使我的名永遠立在那裏；我的眼、我的心也必時常在那裏。你若以純正的心和正直行在我面前，效法你父大衛所行的，遵行我一切所吩咐你的，謹守我的律例典章，我就必堅固你在以色列國度的王位，直到永遠，正如我應許你父大衛說：『你的子孫必不斷有人坐以色列的王位。』倘若你們和你們的子孫轉去不跟從我，不守我擺在你們面前的誡命律例，去事奉別神，敬拜它們，我就必把以色列從我賜給他們的地上剪除，也必從我面前捨棄那為我名所分別為聖的殿，使以色列在萬民中成為笑柄，被人譏誚。這殿雖然崇高，將來凡經過的人必驚訝，嗤笑，說：『耶和華為何向這地和這殿如此行呢？』人必說：『因為此地的人離棄領他們祖先出埃及地的耶和華－他們的上帝，去親近別神，敬拜事奉它們，所以耶和華使這一切災禍臨到他們。』」

所羅門吩咐要為耶和華的名建造殿宇，又為自己的王國建造宮殿。

凡我眼所求的，我沒有克制它；我心所樂的，我沒有不享受。因我的心要為一切的勞碌快樂，這是我從一切勞碌中所得的報償。後來，我回顧我手所經營的一切和我勞碌所做的工。看哪，全是虛空，全是捕風；在日光之下毫無益處。

我大興土木，為自己建造房屋，栽葡萄園，
