所羅門建耶和華室、及王宮室告成、於耶和華室、及己宮室、凡其心所欲作者、盡皆順遂、而竣厥工、

於是耶和華殿、與王宮室、凡所羅門所欲建者、至是告成。

如是所羅門建成主殿及王宮、凡所羅門意中所欲作於主殿及己宮者、皆亨通而工無不竣、

When Solomon had finished the temple of the Lord and the royal palace, and had succeeded in carrying out all he had in mind to do in the temple of the Lord and in his own palace,

Solomon finished the Lord’ s temple and the royal palace. He had done everything he had planned to do in the Lord’ s temple and his own palace.

Thus Solomon finished the house of the Lord and the king’s house. All that Solomon had planned to do in the house of the Lord and in his own house he successfully accomplished.

So Solomon finished the Temple of the Lord, as well as the royal palace. He completed everything he had planned to do in the construction of the Temple and the palace.

So Solomon finished the LORD’s temple and the royal palace. Everything that had entered Solomon’s heart to do for the LORD’s temple and for his own palace succeeded.

So Solomon finished the house of the Lord and the king’s palace, and successfully completed everything that he had planned on doing in the house of the Lord and in his palace.

Thus Solomon finished the house of the Lord and the king’s house; and Solomon successfully accomplished all that came into his heart to make in the house of the Lord and in his own house.

Thus Solomon finished the house of Jehovah, and the king’s house: and all that came into Solomon’s heart to make in the house of Jehovah, and in his own house, he prosperously effected.

So Solomon finished the Lord’s temple and the royal palace. Everything that had entered Solomon’s heart to do for the Lord’s temple and for his own palace succeeded.

Thus Solomon finished the house of the LORD, and the king’s house: and all that came into Solomon’s heart to make in the house of the LORD, and in his own house, he prosperously effected.

Thus Solomon finished Yahweh’s house and the king’s house; and he successfully completed all that came into Solomon’s heart to make in Yahweh’s house and in his own house.

所罗门建造耶和华的殿和王宫，以及一切所想要建造的都完毕了，耶和华第二次向所罗门显现，如先前在基遍向他显现一样。耶和华对他说：“我已听了你在我面前的祷告和祈求，将你所建的这殿分别为圣，使我的名永远立在那里；我的眼、我的心也必时常在那里。你若以纯正的心和正直行在我面前，效法你父大卫所行的，遵行我一切所吩咐你的，谨守我的律例典章，我就必坚固你在以色列国度的王位，直到永远，正如我应许你父大卫说：‘你的子孙必不断有人坐以色列的王位。’倘若你们和你们的子孙转去不跟从我，不守我摆在你们面前的诫命律例，去事奉别神，敬拜它们，我就必把以色列从我赐给他们的地上剪除，也必从我面前舍弃那为我名所分别为圣的殿，使以色列在万民中成为笑柄，被人讥诮。这殿虽然崇高，将来凡经过的人必惊讶，嗤笑，说：‘耶和华为何向这地和这殿如此行呢？’人必说：‘因为此地的人离弃领他们祖先出埃及地的耶和华—他们的神，去亲近别神，敬拜事奉它们，所以耶和华使这一切灾祸临到他们。’”

所罗门吩咐要为耶和华的名建造殿宇，又为自己的王国建造宫殿。

凡我眼所求的，我没有克制它；我心所乐的，我没有不享受。因我的心要为一切的劳碌快乐，这是我从一切劳碌中所得的报偿。后来，我回顾我手所经营的一切和我劳碌所做的工。看哪，全是虚空，全是捕风；在日光之下毫无益处。

我大兴土木，为自己建造房屋，栽葡萄园，
