所羅門建耶和華室、及王宮室告成、於耶和華室、及己宮室、凡其心所欲作者、盡皆順遂、而竣厥工、

於是耶和華殿、與王宮室、凡所羅門所欲建者、至是告成。

如是所羅門建成主殿及王宮、凡所羅門意中所欲作於主殿及己宮者、皆亨通而工無不竣、

When Solomon had finished the temple of the Lord and the royal palace, and had succeeded in carrying out all he had in mind to do in the temple of the Lord and in his own palace,

Solomon finished the Lord’ s temple and the royal palace. He had done everything he had planned to do in the Lord’ s temple and his own palace.

Thus Solomon finished the house of the Lord and the king’s house. All that Solomon had planned to do in the house of the Lord and in his own house he successfully accomplished.

So Solomon finished the Temple of the Lord, as well as the royal palace. He completed everything he had planned to do in the construction of the Temple and the palace.

So Solomon finished the LORD’s temple and the royal palace. Everything that had entered Solomon’s heart to do for the LORD’s temple and for his own palace succeeded.

So Solomon finished the house of the Lord and the king’s palace, and successfully completed everything that he had planned on doing in the house of the Lord and in his palace.

Thus Solomon finished the house of the Lord and the king’s house; and Solomon successfully accomplished all that came into his heart to make in the house of the Lord and in his own house.

Thus Solomon finished the house of Jehovah, and the king’s house: and all that came into Solomon’s heart to make in the house of Jehovah, and in his own house, he prosperously effected.

So Solomon finished the Lord’s temple and the royal palace. Everything that had entered Solomon’s heart to do for the Lord’s temple and for his own palace succeeded.

Thus Solomon finished the house of the LORD, and the king’s house: and all that came into Solomon’s heart to make in the house of the LORD, and in his own house, he prosperously effected.

After Solomon finished building the LORD’s temple and the royal palace, and accomplished all his plans for the LORD’s temple and his royal palace,

Thus Solomon finished Yahweh’s house and the king’s house; and he successfully completed all that came into Solomon’s heart to make in Yahweh’s house and in his own house.

所罗门建造完了耶和华的殿、王宫和所罗门渴想建造的一切以后，耶和华就第二次向所罗门显现，像先前在基遍向他显现一样。耶和华对他说：“你在我面前所作的祷告和恳求，我都已经听见了。你建造的这殿，我已经把它分别为圣，要使我的名永远留在那里；我的眼和我的心也必常在那里。至于你，如果你像你父亲大卫那样，存诚实和正直的心在我面前行事为人，遵行我一切所吩咐你的，谨守我的律例和典章，我就必坚固你统治以色列的国位，直到永远，正如我应许你父亲大卫说：‘你的子孙，总不断有人坐以色列的王位。你们或是你们的子孙，若是转去不跟从我，不遵守我赐给你们的诫命和律例，去事奉别的神，敬拜他们，我就必把以色列人从我赐给他们的这地上剪除，甚至为自己的名分别为圣的这殿，我也必从我面前把它丢弃不顾，使以色列人在万族中成为笑谈和讥笑的对象。这殿必成为废墟（按照《马索拉文本》，“成为废墟”应作“甚高”；现参照《叙利亚译本》翻译），经过的人都必惊讶，取笑说：耶和华为什么向这地和这殿这样作啊？人要回答说：是因为他们离弃了那把他们的列祖从埃及地领出来的耶和华他们的神，去亲近别的神，敬拜他们，事奉他们，因此耶和华使这一切灾祸临到他们。’”

所罗门决意要为耶和华的名建造殿宇，又为自己建造王宫。（本节在《马索拉文本》为1:18）

我眼中所求的，我都不禁止；我心所喜欢的，我都没抑制。我的心因我的一切劳碌而快乐，这就是我从一切劳碌中所得的分。然后，我省察我手所作的一切，和我劳碌所成就的，想不到一切都是虚空，都是捕风，在日光之下毫无益处。
