萬軍之耶和華說：「看哪，我要差遣我的使者在我前面預備道路。你們所尋求的主必忽然來到他的殿；立約的使者，就是你們所仰慕的，看哪，快要來到。」他來的日子，誰能當得起呢？他顯現的時候，誰能立得住呢？因為他如煉金匠的火，如漂洗者的鹼。

他又帶我由北門來到殿前。我觀看，看哪，耶和華的榮光充滿耶和華的殿，我就臉伏於地。

耶和華的使者伸出手裏的杖，杖頭一碰到肉和無酵餅，就有火從磐石中出來，吞滅了肉和無酵餅。耶和華的使者就從他眼前消失了。

祭司從聖所出來的時候，有雲充滿耶和華的殿，祭司因雲彩的緣故不能站立供職，因為耶和華的榮光充滿了耶和華的殿。

那時，雲彩遮蓋會幕，耶和華的榮光充滿了帳幕。摩西不能進會幕，因為雲彩停在其上，耶和華的榮光充滿了帳幕。

日落天黑的時候，看哪，有冒煙的爐和燒着的火把從那些肉塊中經過。

所羅門在耶和華的壇前屈膝跪着，向天舉手；他在耶和華面前禱告祈求完畢的時候，就起來，站着，大聲為以色列全會眾祝福，說：「耶和華是應當稱頌的！因為他照着一切所應許的賜平安給他的百姓以色列，凡藉他僕人摩西應許賜福的話，一句都沒有落空。願耶和華－我們的上帝與我們同在，像與我們列祖同在一樣，不撇下我們，不丟棄我們，使我們的心歸向他，遵行他一切的道，謹守他吩咐我們列祖的誡命、律例、典章。願我在耶和華面前祈求的這些話，晝夜靠近耶和華－我們的上帝，好讓他每日為他僕人和他百姓以色列伸張正義，使地上的萬民都知道惟獨耶和華是上帝，沒有別的了。所以你們當向耶和華－我們的上帝存純正的心，遵行他的律例，謹守他的誡命，如同今日一樣。」

你們求告你們神明的名，我也求告耶和華的名。那應允禱告降火的就是上帝。」眾百姓回答說：「好主意。」

靈將我舉起，帶入內院，看哪，耶和華的榮光充滿了殿。

吹號的、歌唱的都合一齊聲，讚美稱謝耶和華。他們配合號筒、鐃鈸和其他樂器，揚聲讚美耶和華：「耶和華本為善，他的慈愛永遠長存！」那時，耶和華的殿充滿了雲彩。祭司因雲彩的緣故不能站立供職，因為耶和華的榮光充滿了上帝的殿。

他們尚未求告，我就應允；正說話的時候，我就垂聽。

那城內不用日月光照，因為有上帝的榮耀光照，又有羔羊為城的燈。

我要在那裏與以色列人相會，會幕就要因我的榮耀成為聖。

那人進去的時候，基路伯站在殿的南邊，雲彩充滿了內院。耶和華的榮耀從基路伯那裏上升，到殿的入口處；殿內滿佈雲彩，院子也充滿了耶和華榮耀的光輝。

他們禱告完了，聚會的地方震動；他們都被聖靈充滿，放膽傳講上帝的道。

我正說話、禱告，承認我的罪和我百姓以色列的罪，為我上帝的聖山，在耶和華－我的上帝面前懇求；

約在半夜，保羅和西拉正在禱告，唱詩讚美上帝，眾囚犯也側耳聽着的時候，忽然，地大震動，甚至監牢的地基都搖動了，監門立刻全開，眾囚犯的鎖鏈也都解開了。

我必震動萬國，萬國的珍寶都必運來，我就使這殿充滿榮耀。這是萬軍之耶和華說的。銀子是我的，金子也是我的。這是萬軍之耶和華說的。這後來的殿的榮耀必大過先前的榮耀。這是萬軍之耶和華說的。在這地方我必賜平安。這是萬軍之耶和華說的。』」

當烏西雅王崩的那年，我看見主坐在高高的寶座上。他的衣裳下襬遮滿聖殿。上有撒拉弗侍立，各有六個翅膀：兩個翅膀遮臉，兩個翅膀遮腳，兩個翅膀飛翔，彼此呼喊說：「聖哉！聖哉！聖哉！萬軍之耶和華；他的榮光遍滿全地！」因呼喊者的聲音，門檻的根基震動，殿裏充滿了煙雲。
