Not one word has failed of all the wonderful promises he gave through his servant Moses.May the Lord our God be with us as he was with our ancestors; may he never leave us or abandon us.May he give us the desire to do his will in everything and to obey all the commands, decrees, and regulations that he gave our ancestors.And may these words that I have prayed in the presence of the Lord be before him constantly, day and night, so that the Lord our God may give justice to me and to his people Israel, according to each day’s needs.Then people all over the earth will know that the Lord alone is God and there is no other.And may you be completely faithful to the Lord our God. May you always obey his decrees and commands, just as you are doing today.”

Then call on the name of your god, and I will call on the name of the Lord. The god who answers by setting fire to the wood is the true God!” And all the people agreed.

Then the Spirit took me up and brought me into the inner courtyard, and the glory of the Lord filled the Temple.

The trumpeters and singers performed together in unison to praise and give thanks to the Lord. Accompanied by trumpets, cymbals, and other instruments, they raised their voices and praised the Lord with these words:“ He is good! His faithful love endures forever!” At that moment a thick cloud filled the Temple of the Lord.The priests could not continue their service because of the cloud, for the glorious presence of the Lord filled the Temple of God.

I will answer them before they even call to me. While they are still talking about their needs, I will go ahead and answer their prayers!

And the city has no need of sun or moon, for the glory of God illuminates the city, and the Lamb is its light.

I will meet the people of Israel there, in the place made holy by my glorious presence.

The cherubim were standing at the south end of the Temple when the man went in, and the cloud of glory filled the inner courtyard.Then the glory of the Lord rose up from above the cherubim and went over to the entrance of the Temple. And in this place I will bring peace. I, the Lord of Heaven’s Armies, have spoken!”

It was in the year King Uzziah died that I saw the Lord. He was sitting on a lofty throne, and the train of his robe filled the Temple.Attending him were mighty seraphim, each having six wings. With two wings they covered their faces, with two they covered their feet, and with two they flew.They were calling out to each other,“ Holy, holy, holy is the Lord of Heaven’s Armies! The whole earth is filled with his glory!”Their voices shook the Temple to its foundations, and the entire building was filled with smoke.
