Now ascend, O LORD God, to your resting place, you and the ark of your strength! May your priests, O LORD God, experience your deliverance! May your loyal followers rejoice in the prosperity you give!

耶和華上帝歟、使爾尊榮之法匱、歸於此殿、為爾駐蹕之所、使爾祭司、蒙爾拯救、使爾聖人、喜爾矜憫。

求主天主興起、與主榮耀之匱、入主安居之所、願主天主之祭司衣被救恩、使主之虔誠人蒙福而喜、

“ Now arise, Lord God, and come to your resting place, you and the ark of your might. May your priests, Lord God, be clothed with salvation, may your faithful people rejoice in your goodness.

“ Lord God, rise up and come to your resting place. Come in together with the ark. It’s the sign of your power. Lord God, may your priests put on salvation as if it were their clothes. May your faithful people be glad because you are so good.

“ And now arise, O Lord God, and go to your resting place, you and the ark of your might. Let your priests, O Lord God, be clothed with salvation, and let your saints rejoice in your goodness.

“ And now arise, O Lord God, and enter your resting place, along with the Ark, the symbol of your power. May your priests, O Lord God, be clothed with salvation; may your loyal servants rejoice in your goodness.

King David rose to his feet and said:“ Listen to me, my brothers and my people. I wanted to build a temple where the ark of the LORD’s covenant could be placed as a footstool for our God. I have made the preparations for building it.

I will greatly rejoice in the LORD; I will be overjoyed because of my God. For he clothes me in garments of deliverance; he puts on me a robe symbolizing vindication. I look like a bridegroom when he wears a turban as a priest would; I look like a bride when she puts on her jewelry.

I will protect her priests, and her godly people will shout exuberantly.

You crown the year with your good blessings, and you leave abundance in your wake.

The LORD extends your dominion from Zion. Rule in the midst of your enemies!

You will be called,‘ the LORD’s priests, servants of our God.’ You will enjoy the wealth of nations and boast about the riches you receive from them.

How blessed is the one whom you choose, and allow to live in your palace courts. May we be satisfied with the good things of your house– your holy palace.

She was permitted to be dressed in bright, clean, fine linen”( for the fine linen is the righteous deeds of the saints).

But be happy and rejoice forevermore over what I am about to create! For look, I am ready to create Jerusalem to be a source of joy, and her people to be a source of happiness.Jerusalem will bring me joy, and my people will bring me happiness. This is what the LORD says:“ The heavens are my throne and the earth is my footstool. Where then is the house you will build for me? Where is the place where I will rest?

He puts on the garments of vengeance and wears zeal like a robe.He repays them for what they have done, dispensing angry judgment to his adversaries and punishing his enemies. He repays the coastlands.

Instead, put on the Lord Jesus Christ, and make no provision for the flesh to arouse its desires.

For all of you who were baptized into Christ have clothed yourselves with Christ.

When the feet of the priests carrying the ark of the LORD, the Ruler of the whole earth, touch the water of the Jordan, the water coming downstream toward you will stop flowing and pile up.”

For we are the circumcision, the ones who worship by the Spirit of God, exult in Christ Jesus, and do not rely on human credentials

Ascend, O LORD, to your resting place, you and the ark of your strength!May your priests be clothed with integrity! May your loyal followers shout for joy!For the sake of David, your servant, do not reject your chosen king!

For I am not ashamed of the gospel, for it is God’s power for salvation to everyone who believes, to the Jew first and also to the Greek.

You were taught with reference to your former way of life to lay aside the old man who is being corrupted in accordance with deceitful desires,to be renewed in the spirit of your mind,and to put on the new man who has been created in God’s image– in righteousness and holiness that comes from truth.

Rejoice in the Lord always. Again I say, rejoice!

to strengthen those who mourn in Zion, by giving them a turban, instead of ashes, oil symbolizing joy, instead of mourning, a garment symbolizing praise, instead of discouragement. They will be called oaks of righteousness, trees planted by the LORD to reveal his splendor.
