what prayer and supplication soever be made by any man, or by all thy people Israel, who shall know every man his own plague and his own sorrow, and shall spread forth his hands toward this house:

你的民以色列，或是眾人，或是一人，自覺災禍甚苦，向這殿舉手，無論祈求甚麼，禱告甚麼，

你的百姓以色列，或眾人或一人，自覺災禍困苦，向這殿舉手，無論祈求甚麼，禱告甚麼，

你的百姓以色列，或眾人或一人，自覺災禍困苦，向這殿舉手，無論祈求甚麼，禱告甚麼，

只要你的以色列子民，或個人或全體，自知心中痛苦並向著這殿伸手禱告，無論祈求什麼，

你的子民以色列，無論是個別或是全體，自知自己的災禍和痛苦，向著這殿張開雙手禱告或祈求，

你人民以色列，或是任何一人，或是眾人，各人知道自己的災病、自己的苦痛，向這殿舉開雙手，或是禱告，或是懇求，

爾民以色列、或一人、或眾人、自覺其殃其苦、若向此室張手、無論何所禱、何所祈、

如以色列族中知其艱苦、不論何事、展舒其手、向斯殿以祈求、

主之民以色列、無論何人、自覺己心之憂痛愁苦、向此殿舉手、無論何祈何禱、

and when a prayer or plea is made by anyone among your people Israel— being aware of their afflictions and pains, and spreading out their hands toward this temple—

But suppose one of your people prays to you. They ask you to help them. They are aware of how much they are suffering. And they spread out their hands toward this temple to pray.

whatever prayer, whatever plea is made by any man or by all your people Israel, each knowing his own affliction and his own sorrow and stretching out his hands toward this house,

and if your people Israel pray about their troubles or sorrow, raising their hands toward this Temple,

every prayer or petition that any person or that all your people Israel may have— they each know their own affliction and suffering— as they spread out their hands toward this temple,

whatever prayer or plea is made by anyone or by all Your people Israel, each knowing his own affliction and his own pain, and spreading his hands toward this house,

whatever prayer, whatever supplication is made by anyone, or by all Your people Israel, when each one knows his own burden and his own grief, and spreads out his hands to this temple:

whatever prayer or petition anyone from your people Israel might have— each man knowing his own affliction and suffering, and spreading out his hands toward this temple—

[ Then] what prayer[ or] what supplication soever shall be made of any man, or of all thy people Israel, when every one shall know his own sore and his own grief, and shall spread forth his hands in this house:

When all your people Israel pray and ask for help, as they acknowledge their intense pain and spread out their hands toward this temple,

whatever prayer and supplication is made by any man, or by all your people Israel, who will each know his own plague and his own sorrow, and shall spread out his hands toward this house;

Blessed is the nation whose God is Jehovah, The people whom he hath chosen for his own inheritance.Jehovah looketh from heaven; He beholdeth all the sons of men;

The heart knoweth its own bitterness; And a stranger doth not intermeddle with its joy.

He shall call upon me, and I will answer him; I will be with him in trouble: I will deliver him, and honor him.

And call upon me in the day of trouble: I will deliver thee, and thou shalt glorify me.

And he stood before the altar of Jehovah in the presence of all the assembly of Israel, and spread forth his hands( for Solomon had made a brazen scaffold, five cubits long, and five cubits broad, and three cubits high, and had set it in the midst of the court; and upon it he stood, and kneeled down upon his knees before all the assembly of Israel, and spread forth his hands toward heaven);

I cry with my voice unto Jehovah; With my voice unto Jehovah do I make supplication.I pour out my complaint before him; I show before him my trouble.

Blessed is the man unto whom Jehovah imputeth not iniquity, And in whose spirit there is no guile.When I kept silence, my bones wasted away Through my groaning all the day long.For day and night thy hand was heavy upon me: My moisture was changed as with the drought of summer.[ SelahI acknowledged my sin unto thee, And mine iniquity did I not hide: I said, I will confess my transgressions unto Jehovah; And thou forgavest the iniquity of my sin.[ SelahFor this let every one that is godly pray unto thee in a time when thou mayest be found: Surely when the great waters overflow they shall not reach unto him.

And when ye spread forth your hands, I will hide mine eyes from you; yea, when ye make many prayers, I will not hear: your hands are full of blood.
