郇邑之民、賴爾之上帝耶和華、欣喜懽忭、春雨秋霖、無不時若、同於前日、我使之然、

耶和華曰、斯時天祈我、我聽之、地祈天、天聽之、穀酒與油祈地、地聽之、耶斯烈民祈穀酒與油、穀酒與油聽之。

在彼山林、及我聖岡之四周我必賜以純嘏、使時雨降、甘霖沛焉。

異邦人所奉之偶像、豈能使天沛以膏澤、降以甘霖、爾耶和華為我上帝、肇造萬物、故我賴爾。

寅畏耶和華兮、必蒙訓迪、遵當由之道兮、

耶和華兮、導我以逵衢、遵爾之大路兮、余恆望爾兮、蒙爾拯救、爾導予以真理兮、而訓誨之予加、

耶和華曰、當立道旁、訪其舊途、正直者履之、可得平康、人曰、余不欲正直是履。

天朗氣爽、靉靆俱散、氣候推遷、俱遵主命、行乎天下、皆成其意、或降以災、或施以恩、潤澤土壤。約百乎、請聽我言、試思上帝神妙、

示我當行之途、當為之事。

春時、心求耶和華沛其甘霖、惟耶和華使電光閃爍、下雨滂沱、而農之田疇、庶草甲坼、

耶和華無不善、無不義兮、導彼惡人、歸於正道兮、

不肯自謂我之上帝耶和華、春雨秋霖、無不時若、迨屆穡期、俾我能享、故當畏其威焉。

如人獲罪於爾、使天閉塞、雨澤不降、至殿祈禱、呼籲爾名、緣遘患難、去厥罪愆、則爾在天、俯聞其聲、赦宥爾僕、即以色列族之民、指示以善、所錫之地、降以膏澤。

先知書載云、眾將蒙上帝之教、凡聽父而學之者就我、

以利亞告眾曰、從巴力偽為先知者、爾當執之、毋遺一人。遂執之、以利亞攜至基順溪、悉殺戮焉。又告亞哈曰、當起飲食、霖雨其零、我聞其聲。亞哈乃往、式飲式食、惟以利亞陟加密山巔、俯伏於地、屈首至足、告其僕曰、汝往哉、可觀於海。既觀而反曰、絶無一物在焉。曰、再往、至七次乃已。迨及七次、則反曰、有雲甚小、自海而起、大約人掌。曰、往告亞哈云、當備車而往、恐為雨所阻。其間風雲驟起、黑蔽霄漢、沛然下雨、亞哈乘車、往耶斯烈、

爾或偏於左、偏於右、聲從後至、聞於耳畔曰、此其道也、爾當遵循、

亢陽久而厥土熯兮、上帝沛降甘霖、因而優渥兮、
