眾民將往而言曰、其來、我儕登耶和華之山、詣雅各上帝之室、彼將教我以其道、我將履於其途、蓋法律自錫安而出、耶和華之言、由耶路撒冷而來、

錫安之子女歟、爾其歡欣、因爾上帝耶和華而喜樂、以其錫爾秋雨、適合其宜、為爾降甘霖、即春雨秋雨、同乎疇昔、

耶和華曰、是日也、我必應之、我應乎天、天應乎地、地應乎穀酒與油、穀酒與油應乎耶斯列、

我必錫嘏於彼、及我山四周、降以時雨、沛以福澤之甘霖、

異邦虛無之物、有能降雨者乎、天能自施甘霖乎、我之上帝耶和華歟、行此者非爾乎、故我仰望爾、蓋此諸事、皆爾所為也、

寅畏耶和華者誰乎、於其所選之途、必蒙訓示兮、

耶和華歟、示我以爾道、訓我以爾徑兮、以爾真理導我誨我、爾為救我之上帝、我終日企望爾兮、

耶和華曰、爾宜立道中而觀、訪其古道之善者而行之、如是、則心獲安、惟彼曰、我弗由之、

使密雲涵蒸氣、散布蘊電之雲、依其引導、旋轉往還、運行於全地、悉遵厥命、或以之潤土壤、或以為懲、或以為惠、約伯乎、爾其聽之、上帝之妙用、當立而思之、

願爾上帝耶和華、示我當行之途、當為之事、

春雨之時、當求雨於耶和華、耶和華發雷電、必降雨、賜人田間之蔬、

耶和華乃善乃正、故以道示罪人兮、

彼不自謂、我當寅畏我上帝耶和華、彼降秋雨春雨、各適其時、為我定厥穡期、

民獲罪爾、致天閉塞不雨、遭爾罰時、若向此祈禱、而認爾名、改悔厥罪、求爾在天垂聽、赦宥爾僕及爾民以色列之罪、誨以當行之善道、降雨於爾地、即爾所錫爾民為業者、

先知載云、眾將蒙上帝之訓焉、凡聽於父而學之者、則就我、

以利亞謂眾曰、執巴力之先知、毋使一人逸、遂執之、以利亞曳至基順溪、殺之於彼、○以利亞謂亞哈曰、上而飲食、蓋有霖雨之聲也、亞哈乃往飲食、以利亞陟迦密巔、屈身在地、面伏膝間、謂其僕曰、上而望海、則上而望、曰、無所見也、曰、再往、歷至七次、迨及七次、則曰、有雲自海而起、小若人掌、曰、上告亞哈云、備車而下、免為雨阻、頃之、風雲驟起、黑遍穹蒼、沛然下雨、亞哈乘車、往耶斯列、

爾或偏於左、偏於右、耳中必聞有聲、在爾後曰、此乃道路、爾其由之、

上帝歟、爾沛霖雨、爾業困乏、俾其堅固兮、
