耶和華啊，你所管教、用律法所教訓的人是有福的！

耶和華啊，求你將你的律例指教我，我必遵守到底！

以利亞與我們是一樣性情的人，他懇切禱告，求不要下雨，雨就三年零六個月不下在地上。他又禱告，天就降下雨來，地也生出土產。

必有許多國的民前往，說：來吧，我們登耶和華的山，奔雅各神的殿。主必將他的道教訓我們；我們也要行他的路。因為訓誨必出於錫安；耶和華的言語必出於耶路撒冷。

錫安的民哪，你們要快樂，為耶和華－你們的神歡喜；因他賜給你們合宜的秋雨，為你們降下甘霖，就是秋雨、春雨，和先前一樣。

耶和華說：那日我必應允，我必應允天，天必應允地；地必應允五穀、新酒，和油，這些必應允耶斯列民。

我必使他們與我山的四圍成為福源，我也必叫時雨落下，必有福如甘霖而降。

外邦人虛無的神中有能降雨的嗎？天能自降甘霖嗎？耶和華－我們的神啊，能如此的不是你嗎？所以，我們仍要等候你，因為這一切都是你所造的。

誰敬畏耶和華，耶和華必指示他當選擇的道路。

耶和華啊，求你將你的道指示我，將你的路教訓我！求你以你的真理引導我，教訓我，因為你是救我的神。我終日等候你。

耶和華如此說：你們當站在路上察看，訪問古道，哪是善道，便行在其間；這樣，你們心裏必得安息。他們卻說：我們不行在其間。

他使密雲盛滿水氣，布散電光之雲；這雲是藉他的指引游行旋轉，得以在全地面上行他一切所吩咐的，或為責罰，或為潤地，或為施行慈愛。約伯啊，你要留心聽，要站立思想神奇妙的作為。

願耶和華－你的神指示我們所當走的路，所當做的事。」

當春雨的時候，你們要向發閃電的耶和華求雨。他必為眾人降下甘霖，使田園生長菜蔬。

耶和華是良善正直的，所以他必指示罪人走正路。

心內也不說：我們應當敬畏耶和華－我們的神；他按時賜雨，就是秋雨春雨，又為我們定收割的節令，永存不廢。

「你的民因得罪你，你懲罰他們，使天閉塞不下雨；他們若向此處禱告，承認你的名，離開他們的罪，求你在天上垂聽，赦免你僕人以色列民的罪，將當行的善道指教他們，且降雨在你的地，就是你賜給你民為業之地。

在先知書上寫着說：『他們都要蒙神的教訓。』凡聽見父之教訓又學習的，就到我這裏來。

以利亞對他們說：「拿住巴力的先知，不容一人逃脫！」眾人就拿住他們。以利亞帶他們到基順河邊，在那裏殺了他們。以利亞對亞哈說：「你現在可以上去吃喝，因為有多雨的響聲了。」亞哈就上去吃喝。以利亞上了迦密山頂，屈身在地，將臉伏在兩膝之中；對僕人說：「你上去，向海觀看。」僕人就上去觀看，說：「沒有甚麼。」他說：「你再去觀看。」如此七次。第七次僕人說：「我看見有一小片雲從海裏上來，不過如人手那樣大。」以利亞說：「你上去告訴亞哈，當套車下去，免得被雨阻擋。」霎時間，天因風雲黑暗，降下大雨。亞哈就坐車往耶斯列去了。

你或向左或向右，你必聽見後邊有聲音說：「這是正路，要行在其間。」

神啊，你降下大雨；你產業以色列疲乏的時候，你使他堅固。
