耶和华啊，你所管教、用律法所教训的人是有福的！

耶和华啊，求你将你的律例指教我，我必遵守到底！

以利亚与我们是一样性情的人，他恳切祷告，求不要下雨，雨就三年零六个月不下在地上。他又祷告，天就降下雨来，地也生出土产。

必有许多国的民前往，说：“来吧，我们登耶和华的山，奔雅各神的殿。主必将他的道教训我们；我们也要行他的路。因为训诲必出于锡安；耶和华的言语必出于耶路撒冷。”

“锡安的民哪，你们要快乐，为耶和华你们的神欢喜；因他赐给你们合宜的秋雨，为你们降下甘霖，就是秋雨、春雨，和先前一样。

耶和华说：“那日我必应允，我必应允天，天必应允地；地必应允五谷、新酒，和油，这些必应允耶斯列民。

我必使他们与我山的四围成为福源，我也必叫时雨落下，必有福如甘霖而降。

外邦人虚无的神中有能降雨的吗？天能自降甘霖吗？耶和华我们的神啊，能如此的不是你吗？所以，我们仍要等候你，因为这一切都是你所造的。

谁敬畏耶和华，耶和华必指示他当选择的道路。

耶和华啊，求你将你的道指示我，将你的路教训我！求你以你的真理引导我，教训我，因为你是救我的神。我终日等候你。

耶和华如此说：“你们当站在路上察看，访问古道，哪是善道，便行在其间；这样，你们心里必得安息。他们却说：‘我们不行在其间。’

他使密云盛满水气，布散电光之云；这云是藉他的指引游行旋转，得以在全地面上行他一切所吩咐的，或为责罚，或为润地，或为施行慈爱。“约伯啊，你要留心听，要站立思想神奇妙的作为。

愿耶和华你的神指示我们所当走的路，所当做的事。”

当春雨的时候，你们要向发闪电的耶和华求雨。他必为众人降下甘霖，使田园生长菜蔬。

耶和华是良善正直的，所以他必指示罪人走正路。

心内也不说：‘我们应当敬畏耶和华我们的神；他按时赐雨，就是秋雨春雨，又为我们定收割的节令，永存不废。’

“你的民因得罪你，你惩罚他们，使天闭塞不下雨；他们若向此处祷告，承认你的名，离开他们的罪，求你在天上垂听，赦免你仆人以色列民的罪，将当行的善道指教他们，且降雨在你的地，就是你赐给你民为业之地。

在先知书上写着说：‘他们都要蒙神的教训。’凡听见父之教训又学习的，就到我这里来。

以利亚对他们说：“拿住巴力的先知，不容一人逃脱！”众人就拿住他们。以利亚带他们到基顺河边，在那里杀了他们。以利亚对亚哈说：“你现在可以上去吃喝，因为有多雨的响声了。”亚哈就上去吃喝。以利亚上了迦密山顶，屈身在地，将脸伏在两膝之中；对仆人说：“你上去，向海观看。”仆人就上去观看，说：“没有什么。”他说：“你再去观看。”如此七次。第七次仆人说：“我看见有一小片云从海里上来，不过如人手那样大。”以利亚说：“你上去告诉亚哈，当套车下去，免得被雨阻挡。”霎时间，天因风云黑暗，降下大雨。亚哈就坐车往耶斯列去了。

你或向左或向右，你必听见后边有声音说：“这是正路，要行在其间。”

神啊，你降下大雨；你产业以色列疲乏的时候，你使他坚固。
