耶和华啊！你所管教，用律法教导的人，是有福的。

以利亚是与我们性情相同的人；他恳切祈求不要下雨，地上就三年零六个月没有雨；他又祈祷，天就下雨，地就生出土产来。

必有多国的人前来说：“来吧！我们上耶和华的山，登雅各神的殿；他必把他的道路指示我们，我们也要遵行他的道；因为教训必出于锡安。耶和华的话要来自耶路撒冷。

锡安的人民哪！你们要欢喜，要靠耶和华你们的神快乐，因为他赐给了你们合时的秋雨。他给你们降下时雨，就是秋雨春雨，像以前一样。

耶和华说：“到那日，我必应允，我必应允天，天必应允地，地必应允五谷、新酒和油。这些必应允耶斯列（“耶斯列”意即“栽种”）。

我必使他们和我的山四围都蒙福；我必按时降雨，这就是赐福的雨。

列国虚无的偶像中，有可以降雨的吗？天能自降甘霖吗？耶和华我们的神啊！能够这样作的，不是只有你吗？所以我们仰望你，因为这一切都是你所作的。

谁是那敬畏耶和华的人？耶和华必指示他应选择的道路。

耶和华啊！求你把你的道路指示我，求你把你的路径教导我，求你以你的真理引导我，教训我，因为你是拯救我的神；我整天等候的就是你。

耶和华这样说：“你们要站在路上察看，寻访远古的路径，看哪一条是美善的路，就走在其中；这样，你们心里就必得安息。他们却说：‘我们不走在其中。’

他使密云满载水气，云彩布散他的电光。电光照着神的指引来往旋转，在地球上行他一切所吩咐的。他使电光来临，是为施行责罚，或为滋润大地，或为赐予慈爱。约伯啊！你当留心听这话，要站立思想神奇妙的事。

请为我们求耶和华你的神指示我们当走的路和该作的事。”

在春雨的季节，你们要向耶和华求雨。耶和华闪发雷电，给人降雨，使各人的田地生长蔬菜。

耶和华是良善和正直的，因此他必指示罪人走正路。

他们心里也不想想：‘我们应当敬畏耶和华我们的神，他按时赐雨，就是秋雨春霖，又为我们保存定时收割的节令。’

“如果他们因为得罪了你，天就闭塞不下雨；他们若是向这地方祷告，承认你的名；又因你苦待他们，就离开他们的罪，求你在天上垂听，赦免你仆人和你的子民以色列的罪，指示他们当行的善道，赐雨水在你的地上，就是你赐给你子民的产业之地。

先知书上记着：‘众人都必受神的教导。’凡听见从父那里来的教训而又学习的，必到我这里来。

以利亚对他们说：“捉住巴力的先知，一个也不要让他们逃脱。”于是众人捉住他们。以利亚带他们下到基顺河边，在那里杀了他们。以利亚对亚哈说：“你上去吃喝吧！因为已经有下大雨的响声了。”亚哈就上去吃喝。以利亚上了迦密山顶，屈身在地，把脸放在两膝之间。以利亚对自己的仆人说：“你上去向海那边观看。”他就上去观看，说：“什么也没有。”以利亚说：“你再回去观看。”这样说了七次。到第七次，仆人说：“我看到一小片乌云，好像人的手掌那么大，正在从海里升上来。”以利亚说：“你上去告诉亚哈：‘赶快套车下山，免得被大雨所阻。’”霎时之间，天空因风云而变为黑暗，随着降下大雨来。于是亚哈坐上了车，往耶斯列去了。

每当你偏左或偏右的时候，你必听见后面有声音说：“这是正路，要行在其中！”

神啊！你降下大雨，使你贫瘠的产业得到滋润。
