耶和华啊，蒙你管教并用律法训诲的人有福了！

耶和华啊，求你将你的律例教导我，我必遵守到底。

以利亚先知和我们一样同是血肉之躯，他恳切地祈求不要下雨，结果三年半没有下雨。后来他再祷告求雨，天就降雨，地也长出了庄稼。

多国的民都要前来，说：“来吧，让我们登耶和华的山，去雅各之上帝的殿。祂必指示我们当行的路，我们也要遵行祂的道。”因为训诲必出于锡安，耶和华的话语必来自耶路撒冷。

锡安的人民啊，你们应当欢喜快乐，从你们的上帝耶和华那里得到喜乐。因为祂按时降下甘霖，像从前一样赐给你们秋雨、春雨。

耶和华说：“那时，我要应允，我要应允天的祈求，天要应允地的祈求，地要应允五谷、新酒和油的祈求，五谷、新酒和油要应允耶斯列的祈求。

我要赐福他们，也要赐福我圣山的周围，我要按季节降雨给他们，使恩福如雨降下。

在列国供奉的偶像中，谁能赐下雨水呢？天能自降甘霖吗？我们的上帝耶和华啊，难道不是只有你能行这些事吗？是你赐雨水降甘霖，所以我们仰望你。

凡敬畏耶和华的人，耶和华必指示他当走的路。

耶和华啊，求你指引我走你的路，教导我行你的道。求你以你的真理引领我，教导我，因为你是拯救我的上帝，我日夜仰望你。

耶和华说：“你们要站在路口观望，寻访古道，找到正路并行在其上，便会得到心灵的安宁。”但你们却说：“我们拒绝这样做。”

祂使密云布满水气，从云端发出闪电。云随祂的指令旋转，在地面之上完成祂的吩咐，或为惩罚大地，或为彰显慈爱。“约伯啊，请留心听，要驻足沉思上帝的奇妙作为。

愿你的上帝耶和华指示我们该去哪里，该做什么。”

要在春季向耶和华求雨。祂创造雷雨，为世人降下甘霖，使田间长出青翠之物。

耶和华良善公正，祂教导罪人走正路，

你们心中从未说，我们要敬畏我们的上帝耶和华，祂按时降下秋雨和春雨，让我们按时收割。

“当你的子民得罪你，你惩罚他们，叫天不降雨时，如果他们向着这殿祷告，承认你的名，并离开罪恶，求你在天上垂听，赦免你仆人——你以色列子民的罪，教导他们走正道，降下甘霖滋润你赐给你子民作产业的土地。

先知书上这样说，‘他们都要受上帝的训诲’，这里是指凡听从父的教导又去效法的人，都会到我这里来。

以利亚对他们说：“抓住巴力的先知，别放走一个人！”众人就抓住他们，以利亚把他们带到基顺河边，在那里杀了他们。以利亚对亚哈说：“你去吃喝吧，因为我已听见大雨将临的声音。”亚哈就去吃喝。以利亚上到迦密山顶，跪在地上，脸伏在双膝之间。他吩咐仆人：“你去向海的方向观看。”仆人就去观看，然后说：“什么也没有。”以利亚又让他去观看，前后共七次。第七次，仆人说：“我看见一朵手掌那么大的云从海里升起来了。”以利亚便吩咐他：“你去告诉亚哈，叫他套车下山，免得被雨阻挡。”霎时间，天上乌云密布，狂风大作，下起大雨。亚哈坐着马车回耶斯列。

不管你们向左还是向右，都会听见背后有声音说：“这是正路，踏上去吧！”

上帝啊，你降下沛雨，滋润你干旱的产业——以色列，
