人若獲罪於鄰、令其發誓、則至此室、在爾壇前發誓、

如人與同儕有所干犯、至此殿、發誓於壇前、

人若獲罪於人、有人使其在此殿主之祭臺前發誓、

“ When anyone wrongs their neighbor and is required to take an oath and they come and swear the oath before your altar in this temple,

双方要在耶和华前起誓，受托人要表明自己没有伸手拿邻舍的东西，原主要接受誓言，受托人不必赔偿。

祭司要叫妇人起誓，对她说：‘若没有人与你同寝，若你未曾背着丈夫做污秽的事，你就能免去这致诅咒的苦水。但你背着丈夫，玷污自己，跟丈夫以外的人同寝。’祭司叫妇人赌咒起誓，祭司对她说：‘当耶和华使你大腿萎缩，肚腹肿胀时，愿耶和华使你在你百姓中成为诅咒和咒骂；愿这致诅咒的水进入你体内，使你肚腹肿胀，大腿萎缩。’妇人要说：‘阿们，阿们。’

“若有人犯了罪，就是听见了誓言，他本来可以作证，却不把所看见、所知道的说出来，必须担当他的罪孽。

你们又说：‘凡指着祭坛起誓的算不得什么；但是凡指着坛上祭物起誓的，他就该谨守。’

免得我饱足了，就不认你，说：“耶和华是谁呢？”又恐怕我贫穷就偷窃，以致亵渎我神的名。

“人若得罪邻舍，有人强迫他，要他起誓，他来到这殿，在你的坛前起誓，求你在天上垂听、处理，向你的仆人施行审判，定恶人有罪，照他所行的报应在他头上；定义人为义，照他的义赏赐他。
