If a man sin against his neighbor, and an oath be laid upon him to cause him to swear, and he come and swear before thine altar in this house;

“人若得罪邻舍，有人叫他起誓，他来到这殿，在你的坛前起誓，

「人若得罪鄰舍，有人強迫他，要他起誓，他來到這殿，在你的壇前起誓，

「人若得罪鄰舍，有人強迫他，要他起誓，他來到這殿，在你的壇前起誓，

「如果有人得罪鄰舍，被叫到這殿中，在你的壇前起誓，

“人若是得罪了鄰舍，有人要他起誓，他就來到這殿，在你的祭壇前起誓；

『人若得罪了鄰舍，有人叫他用一種咒語來起誓，他來到這殿，在你祭壇前起誓；

人若獲罪於鄰、令其發誓、則至此室、在爾壇前發誓、

如人與同儕有所干犯、至此殿、發誓於壇前、

人若獲罪於人、有人使其在此殿主之祭臺前發誓、

“ When anyone wrongs their neighbor and is required to take an oath and they come and swear the oath before your altar in this temple,

“ Suppose someone does something wrong to their neighbor. And the person who has done something wrong is required to give their word. They must tell the truth about what they have done. They must come and do it in front of your altar in this temple.

“ If a man sins against his neighbor and is made to take an oath and comes and swears his oath before your altar in this house,

“ If someone wrongs another person and is required to take an oath of innocence in front of your altar at this Temple,

“ If someone sins against his neighbor and is made to take an oath, and he comes and takes an oath before Your altar in this house,

“ If anyone sins against his neighbor, and is forced to take an oath, and comes and takes an oath before Your altar in this temple,

If a man sin against his neighbour, and an oath be laid upon him to make him swear, and the oath come before thine altar in this house;

“ When someone is accused of sinning against his neighbor and the latter pronounces a curse on the alleged offender before your altar in this temple,

the oath of Jehovah shall be between them both, whether he hath not put his hand unto his neighbor’s goods; and the owner thereof shall accept it, and he shall not make restitution.

And the priest shall cause her to swear, and shall say unto the woman, If no man have lain with thee, and if thou have not gone aside to uncleanness, being under thy husband, be thou free from this water of bitterness that causeth the curse.But if thou have gone aside, being under thy husband, and if thou be defiled, and some man have lain with thee besides thy husband:then the priest shall cause the woman to swear with the oath of cursing, and the priest shall say unto the woman, Jehovah make thee a curse and an oath among thy people, when Jehovah doth make thy thigh to fall away, and thy body to swell;and this water that causeth the curse shall go into thy bowels, and make thy body to swell, and thy thigh to fall away. And the woman shall say, Amen, Amen.

And if any one sin, in that he heareth the voice of adjuration, he being a witness, whether he hath seen or known, if he do not utter it, then he shall bear his iniquity.

And, Whosoever shall swear by the altar, it is nothing; but whosoever shall swear by the gift that is upon it, he is a debtor.

Lest I be full, and deny thee, and say, Who is Jehovah? Or lest I be poor, and steal, And use profanely the name of my God.

If a man sin against his neighbor, and an oath be laid upon him to cause him to swear, and he come and swear before thine altar in this house;then hear thou in heaven, and do, and judge thy servants, condemning the wicked, to bring his way upon his own head, and justifying the righteous, to give him according to his righteousness.
