有哪一個神明像你，赦免罪孽，饒恕他產業中餘民的罪過？他不永遠懷怒，喜愛施恩。

我，惟有我為自己的緣故塗去你的過犯，我也不再記得你的罪惡。

主啊，求你垂聽！主啊，求你赦免！主啊，求你側耳，求你實行！為你自己的緣故不要遲延。我的上帝啊，因這城和這民都是稱為你名下的。」

那至高無上、永遠長存、名為聖者的如此說：「我住在至高至聖的所在，卻與心靈痛悔的謙卑人同住；要使謙卑的人心靈甦醒，使痛悔的人內心復甦。

坐在天上的主啊，我向你舉目。

你赦免了你百姓的罪孽，遮蓋了他們一切的過犯。（細拉）你收回所發的憤怒，撤銷你猛烈的怒氣。

那時，祭司和利未人起來，為百姓祝福。他們的聲音蒙上帝垂聽，他們的禱告達到他天上的聖所。

「所以，你們要這樣禱告：『我們在天上的父：願人都尊你的名為聖。

耶和華啊，你若究察罪孽，主啊，誰能站得住呢？但在你有赦免之恩，要叫人敬畏你。

求你從天上你的居所垂聽他們的禱告祈求，為他們伸張正義，赦免你的百姓向你犯的罪。

我塗去你的過犯，像厚雲消散；塗去你的罪惡，如薄霧消失。你當歸向我，因我救贖了你。

在上帝面前你不可冒失開口，也不可心急發言；因為上帝在天上，你在地上，所以你的話語要少。

免我們的債，如同我們免了人的債。

「上帝豈不是在高天嗎？你看星宿的頂點何其高呢！你說：『上帝知道甚麼？他豈能透過幽暗施行審判呢？密雲將他遮蓋，使他不能看見；他周遊穹蒼。』
